Romanian artist Tao Andra synthesises her hyperactive but sensitive personality into her music, playing
from high energy to dark and groovy Techno. Her musical journey began in The Netherlands during her
university years, following up with releases on 7Rituals, Kuukou Records and Kaligo Records. Tao now
brings her ever-maturing Techno production to Victor Ruiz’s increasingly popular VOLTA imprint, with Ruiz
himself joining Andra for a standout remix on ‘Gracias a la Vida’.
Kicking off with the title cut, ‘Gracias a la Vida’ dives straight into a flurry of racy grooves and blistering
electronic musicality. Oozing with a blend of psy-inspired techno flavours from the outset - its fast-paced
drums and driven hat sequences pave the way for an expanding platform of rifling bass notes and gritty
synth leads that keep the energy at an explicit premium throughout. It would be criminal not to mention
the captivating vocal topline that rears its head beautifully at the track’s most atmospheric intersections,
making it a truly unique piece of music, capable of turning heads and capturing hearts on any dancefloor
globally.
Victor Ruiz caps off the release with an emphatic spin on the original, electing a more traditional techno
feel built around commanding kicks, sizzling percussion and ethereal nuances from start to finish. An
archetypal stadium-sized peak-time bomb from Ruiz, bringing robust rhythms, cinematic-level musicality,
celestial layers and another display of that absolutely stunning vocal.

Hugo Venegas, also known as Interactive Noise, has been pushing the boundaries of electronic music since 2007, significantly impacting the global progressive trance scene through several influential studio albums and continuous performances at renowned festivals and club spaces. Bringing his seamless blend of electronic sounds, including progressive house, techno, and minimal elements, Interactive Noise is primed to debut on Indira Paganotto’s increasingly popular ARTCORE imprint this October with an impressive two-track release titled ‘Dissociaxion’.

‘The Punisher’ feat. Lil Jorck quickly dives into the release’s flow of driving grooves and riveting musicality. A combination of thick kicks, potent bass notes and fizzing percussive energy lead the way through a series of climatic peaks and atmospheric troughs, all characterised by an ominous vocal topliner.

The second of two tracks with a cinematic entrance, is ‘Where Is My Mind’. It’s an impressive scene-setting record with a vast array of attention-grabbing elements. Its onslaught of highoctane minimalist psytrance beats provides the perfect platform for a continually warping arrangement of rave-inspired instruments and broken robotic vocals to carve out a special mainstage weapon.

Indira’s latest release, via ARTCORE, is a solid testament to that fact, exhibited masterfully across two individually brilliant club cuts on her ‘Heaven Is For Warriors’ EP.

Opening with the lead track, ‘Heaven Is For Warriors’ comes in hot with thumping drum grooves and crisp percussive drive, supplemented by ominously celestial undertones and rave-inspired musicality throughout - a sinister tirade of punchy electronic grit, marching to a racy tempo built for peak-time sets.

The release closes on ‘Requiem’, further playing on the darkened divine theme throughout the EP. Beyond its atmospheric intro, you’re greeted with a marauding flurry of watertight Techno goodness layered with synths, sirens, pads and much more.

There’s no denying Indira’s oneness when considering groundbreaking techno talents; her ‘Heaven Is For Warriors’ EP serves as a solid reminder of her commitment to trailblazing a path into the genre’s new and exciting age.

Released on 22nd April, Indira’s next big release, the 3rd of her own to grace ARTCORE is a trance-tinged techno offering, that's had plenty of dancefloor approval.

Indira Paganotto and her ARTCORE imprint stand out from the crowd with an exponential sense of uniqueness, front-running pioneers of the new Psy-influenced techno boom. Indira’s upcoming release ‘Gypsy Queen’ is another perfect example of how she has garnered so much love and support for her unique vibe and ethos to date.

Title track ‘Gipsy Queen’ begins in eccentric fashion. A gentle strumming of flamenco guitar lines, a distorted chorus of castanets and an enchanting vocal open the track to remain a key feature throughout waves of razor-sharp synths and hurtling drums sequences. The dips in pace are beautifully accompanied by the stirring vocals but before long the flamenco
influences are overrun by the trance-tinged techno Indira is famous for.

The out of body like energy summoned by the strings and haunting effects of ‘Vendetta’ offer a different audio experience to that offered by the EP’s title track. With a visceral intensity that becomes more acute following each drop there are several curious effects and tones at play to make for a somewhat dramatic techno heavy melody.

As we enter the tenth release on Indira's Paganotto's burgeoning ARTCORE imprint, the label signals intent with an admirable offering from longstanding Techno authority Joseph Capriati joining Indira on a two-track collaboration.

Joseph & Indira's 'Mantra' is another testament to ARTCORE's ever-increasing weight in Techno and global electronic dance music and features a duo of racy cuts laden with signature sonics from both artists, kicking off with 'Ananda' and its potent classic Techno feel, with a prominent Capriati core of thumping kicks, crisp percussive drive and progressive energy shifts and playful twists, laced with Indira's hypnotic exotic vocal chops and gritty LFO shots. 

'Mantra' rounds off the release with an inverted sound transition, leaning heavier into the 'Psy' sound that has seen Indira's notoriety skyrocket. Funk Tribu will make his ARTCORE debut this December with a new EP ‘Viento’. The two-track release flawlessly showcases the Colombian’s ability to fuse elements of techno and trance in order to cultivate his signature “retro futuristic” sound.
 
Since coming to prominence, Funk Tribu has enjoyed a number of high-ranking positions on Beatport’s venerable dance charts. This year, he secured his first No.1 position with ‘I Want Your Love’, a collaboration with Oliver Helden’s and DIøN. While previous releases such as ‘Drummers’, ‘Phonky Tribu’ and ‘Platinum’ have peaked at No.15, No.4 and No.36 respectively.
 
Whilst the Viento EP marks Funk Tribu’s first outing on Indira Paganotto’s highly regarded label, the Bogotá native has already featured on a number of leading labels in the hard dance scene including Teletech, A Million / Groove Attack, Heldeep Records, and 44 Label Group. 
 
It’ll be fair to say that 2024 has also been somewhat of a breakout year for the young producer in regard to performing. Having been invited to record his first Boiler Room broadcast prior to the release of his anxiously anticipated debut album, ‘Against All Odds’, he headed to Amsterdam to host Intercell x Funk Tribu Invites at ADE before crossing the Atlantic for a North America tour comprising dates in Toronto, Los Angeles, Mexico City and New York. Whilst in his adopted home city of Berlin, his Speedmaster event series continues to blossom in popularity with its final show of the year at Watergate having already sold out. 
 
Launching with title track, ‘Viento’ provides a neon-lit rush from beginning to end whilst boasting a dulcet mix of galloping drum patterns, simmering pads and a delightful flute like melody. It’s both thrilling and somewhat serene in equal parts delivering an unpredictable jaunt through an unnerving, whimsical soundscape made up of both fanciful overtones and daunting bass.
 
‘When The Sun Goes Down’ features on the flip and sees out this impressive debut with panache. Surging from the off by way of a fierce clap and kick combination, a rush of flanging ambience soon washes over the initial beat before a potent mix of grandiose strings and rapidfire percussion takes hold to close out yet another wonderfully eclectic ARTCORE debut.
