The Compilation, Pt.1 (14 Year Aniversary)

Following the first release, Artefact Records proudly presents the second installment of our three-part series celebrating 14 years of quality house music. This release features five dynamic tracks from an impressive lineup of artists. Leading the charge is 84bit, the most popular house duo from Montenegro, delivering a track with a classic funky club feel. Joining them is Macedonian veteran house producer Angel Rize, whose contribution is an afro house banger that is sure to ignite the dance floor. UK-based Soul Equation, a regular on our label, offers a classic upbeat piano-driven house track that embodies the spirit of feel-good house music.
Adding to the diverse array of sounds is Brazilian house DJ and producer Gus What, who brings a minimal house vibe to the release, providing a smooth and sophisticated groove. Rounding out the collection is German jacking house maestro Pc-Pat with a proper jacking house track that will keep the energy high. Each track showcases the unique talents and styles of these international artists, contributing to the rich tapestry of sounds that define Artefact Records. The Compilation, Pt.3 (14 Year Anniversary)

With our 83rd release to date, That Story EP by French producer DJ Tchok we continue the tradition of delivering quality deep house music. This three-track journey showcases DJ Tchok's talent for creating smooth and captivating grooves that work equally well on the dancefloor or during a relaxed evening.

The title track, That Story, opens the EP with a loopy, melodic vibe, enriched by a filtered male vocal that adds a soulful and hypnotic touch. The second track, Ego You Know, shifts gears with its dynamic rolling percussion and deep, emotive chords, creating an irresistible groove.

Closing the EP, Pump Up The Vibes nods to the early '90s with its use of a familiar vocal loop, re-imagined within a deep and trippy production. The fusion of nostalgic elements with DJ Tchok's modern, textured sound design makes this track a perfect conclusion to the release.

After more then 4 years we are proud to announce our first long play release signed by Goran Tech, one of the most talented young producers from Macedonia.
Goran Tech started his career as a Dj during the summer of 2004 in the small clubs around his home town Bitola. He then continued performing across Macedonia in several clubs and festivals and around Balkans. His style was upgrading and becoming more and more recognizable and went from deep house to tech grooves made for the dance floor. In addition to his DJ work, he also has a long career as a producer that spans from 2008 and with more then 50 tracks and remixes under his belt, for labels like Balkan Connection, Tokyo Red, Excel, Tenor, City Life, Perception and few releases on our label as well as his own label Walk&Talk Records that he started in 2013.
Light At The End is his first ever album that has 12 tracks, and with this production Goran shows us his strong side of producing melodic deep even chilled out vibes. The album is a story from the beginning to the end and suitable for long drives with your car, and at the same time for the long nights at the dance club.
Great package of beautiful melodic and deep house that should be a part of anyone's record collection.

To celebrate the 11th year in operation of our label we are releasing Ramorae's EP on the same date as the first ever release on Artefact Records. Taal ep is the long awaited new music from our regular and it comes as a 4 tracker. Whut! is the first track, jazzy jackin house driven production mixed with some nice trumpet melodies, vocal snippets and deep bassline, glued together with some tight rolling beats. Next is Taal pure tech house with some funky chords and techy melodies, all in all genuine dancefloor banger. Chubby is the third track of the release, classic house sounding reminiscent to Arman Van Helden's 90's production, with raw beats, funky percussion and deep loopy chords, true underground house. Last but not least is Round 2 with it's deep and techy production layered smooth sounding chords and melodies driven by a proper bass and fat beats. Ramorae has delivered again.

DJ Tchok's Find My Name EP marks the 11th year in operation of our label as 74th release coming out on the same date as our first ever release. The two tracker starts with Find My Name minimalistic deep darkish but at the same time very funky sounding production with rolling loopy chords and tight beats layered over some fat bassline. The second track Bruit De Fond takes us back in time to the flip of the century with its retro sounding melodies and chunky bassline. This two tracker with DJ Tchok's genuine sound is a great addition for any underground head record box.

It is still spring and time for the annual Spring Sampler 2022 edition. This time we are offering 6 pack of well established artists on our label. First track comes courtesy of Mica (UK) she is on the rising path and already with more then 20 tracks released for various labels across the globe, with her distinct minimal and tight production, she delivers rominal style of pure house as a starter for this years Spring Sampler. Next is the french dj and producer DJ Tchok with his Go To Phuket, regular on our label, this time with his bouncy kick and wobbly bassline glued with minimalistic vocal samples, to deliver true dance-floor warmer. The third track Time Shift is Terry G 's production who has been releasing on many respected labels as well as label owner, this time he continues with his well known jackin house style. The Brasilian Gus What who debuted on our label along with Flavio few years ago, is back with pure house deepness called What is House (Re-Dub Mix). One of the most regular artists on our label Soul Equation again comes up with this beautiful retro 90's feel production just modern enough for those picky dance-floors. Last but not least is What The World Is Coming To track by the duo PC-Pat & Claud Santo, jacking meets deep and soulful vibe, ready for the summer. So there it is a six pack a combination of six styles and takes on the house sound, the sound that we at artefact love and cherish in its all different shades.

Spring has started so that means it is time for our annual Spring sampler. This year we have split the release into two different releases due to the great number of tracks that we like. Pt.1 is our 77th release and this 4 track collection features some of our regulars and one new collaboration. We start with Mvrik's chill out downtempo track Traveller which will be included in his ep planned for later this year, it is a short version with a laid back rhythms and melodic and soulful guitar loop that will transport you to a place of calm and serenity. Next is the newest signing to our catalog of artists, a local collaboration called Maalski Groove with their track Romance De Chair, mesmerizing deep house track with a rolling bassline and melodic and deep chords, creating hypnotic groove that keeps everyone moving on the dance floor. Third track is signed by a regular on our label and very well established deep house producer hailing from France DJ Tchok and his track La Fête with its classic house feel driving beat and deep and funky bassline as a solid foundation for the melodic and rhythmic vocal snippets drifting in and out of the mix, will make you loose yourself on the dance floor and dance the night away. Never Leave The House is the forth and last track on this first part of our sampler and it is courtesy of our regular Pc-Pat, who delivers deep and jackin house sound with driving beat and deep and groovy bassline reinforced with some lively and funky chords, and with the addition of the extra layer of vocal samples fulfills the over all sound which is perfect for those who love to jack to the groove and enjoy the perfect drive on the dancefloor.

The second part of our annual spring sampler features 5 tracks from different artists all of them regulars on our label. The tracks are mix of different styles of the deep house sound, showcasing the diversity of the music that Artefact has always promoted. First to open the second part of the sampler is the only female on our label and one of the most improved artists in the past few years Mica (UK) with her 'Dusk' a mesmerizing track that blends elements of minimal and deep house. The song features a deep bassline and rolling beats mixed with some atmospheric melodies. Mica has created a captivating soundscape that feels both intimate and expansive. The melodies blend with the beat and create a seamless mix of electronic and organic sounds that give the song a unique, immersive feel. 'Dusk' is a masterful example of minimal deep house, showcasing Mica's skill at crafting intricate soundscapes that are both hypnotic and immersive and creating a track that is both club-friendly and deeply evocative. As a second track comes Ramorae's track Forget with which he shows his ability to craft a beautiful melody using chords and harmonies that create a dreamy and uplifting atmosphere. One of the strengths of 'Forget' is the way Ramorae balances the melodic elements with the beat. 'Forget' is a fantastic example of melodic deep house, and Ramorae's ability to create a perfect balance of rhythm and melody. The pure house beat provides a solid foundation for the song's beautiful melody, making it a track that is both danceable and emotionally resonant. 'Jims Groove' by Soul Equation the third track of the compilation is a captivating piano-driven house track that exudes a sense of joy and positivity. The track features a beautiful, uplifting melody and chords that create a dreamy and euphoric atmosphere. The use of subtle male speech adds an intriguing layer of depth to the track. Production is polished and well-balanced, with a focus on creating a smooth and dynamic flow throughout the entire song.
