I want to tell you my story, the story of Thorns and Roses that I’ve experienced in these past months of absence…

I was in a very rough time, with a lot of hardships, deep valleys, confrontations, dark fears, disappointments, blood, sweat & tears…

All these emotions unfolded as I was in a process of constructing a platform for my yurt and moving out of the comfort zone into a natural habitat that was left to Nature for over 20 years. 
Although the Manifestation of a free yurt and a free land came without effort, even with Magic - for which I’m very grateful -,the construction was a first time experience and because of circumstances, I felt strongly I had to go through this alone…

With failures and misfortunes, I’ve experienced moments that felt as a fight with Rough Thorns. They were Obstacles and Thoughts that seemed to prevent my way to my goal, and myself ...
I felt very much alone to carry such a heavy load.

To keep myself motivated, I started to see this experience as a ‘Rite of Passage’ where I had to go through…

My instincts and urge to survive this, pushed me in a corner. 
The Thorns stung and cut because I fought to get out of the thorn maze!
Deadlines, Stress, Self- Neglect, Physical and Mental tensions, Pressure, no social contact, only Focus
Guilt
Doubting Myself
Almost Giving up…

…

And then... there was The Rose ... 
She appeared everywhere around me in all her Beauty
And She came in a Song, the first of this set ...
Gently she came in, she flowed like a river deep into my soul
And I Cried, Welcomed, Accepted and Realized ...
That I totally forgot about Her ...

The Rose is the Gentleness, The Love & The Trust that Blooms Between the Thorns,
She reminds me that through Trust and Patience, Love, Light but also Softness & Self Care I will Flourish

That Every Process can be Thorny
But that the way we deal with Growth 
Determines what Manifests itself, what will Transform ...

By fighting and suffering we are hurting 
By Accepting the Process and gently touching or avoiding the thorns
Use thorns as Strength, as Protection
Moving along them, gently letting them pass 
By having Faith & Trust in what will come ...
With some Love & some Air, some Sun and Water
But above all Patience and Acceptance for how the process Unfolds...
Will we really come to full bloom!

This dj set is for all those that are going through rough times
That forgot how to take care of themselves meanwhile..
I wish it Opens your Heart and brings some Gentleness 
It's here to Create a moment of Rest and Self-Care, of Love
And as a reminder to keep the masculine and feminine energy well balanced
In ourselves...

'Things are not as bad as they Seem' 
is an advice I got from a visionary about this process.

We are in the middle of experiencing the biggest and most intense paradigm shift of our time. Our systems are collapsing as they are based on the greed and values defined by patriarchic ego. The chaos in the world has in many moments felt overwhelming and confusing, without a clear vision in the horizon of how we can return into balance and harmony with everything that exists. But we are finally collectively waking up!

Yet, amongst all this turmoil, there are new, never-seen signs of unity. People rising together against oppression beyond color or nationality, awareness and action to protect indigenous people and their land is increasing, their ancient wisdom of the cosmos is remerging for us all to learn from. We're starting to understand the value and importance of taking care of nature. The power is slowly going back to the people instead of tyrants…There is Hope!

This selection of my favorite productions represent that to me. I recorded it on this June full moon as my personal ritual, ranging from shamanic ambient to cosmic downtempo with an ethereal flow. This is my journey full of feelings… full of Hope.
