Surt is a project conceived by the mind of a young Italian producer who started developing his sound a few years ago.
His interest in music dates back to his childhood when his father decided that learning to play the piano was the best choice for him to start his journey.
During his adolescence, he worked as a DJ around his hometown, but at some point, he understood that producing and playing his own music was the way to fully express himself.
He debuted last year with his first EP on Northallsen Records. Soon after he followed it up with a second EP on the same label and then his this EP on Deepbass’ Informa Records called Quadripartita Ratio, a mapping of literary concepts with introspective soundscapes.
His sonorities are characterised by clean solid basslines mixed with fine sound design and dreamy, sometimes melancholic, backgrounds.

Surt 는 몇 년 전부터 자신의 소리를 만들어오기 시작한 젊은 이탈리아 프로듀서의 프로젝트이다.
음악에 대한 그의 관심은 그의 아버지가 피아노 치는 것을 배우는 것이 음악으로의 여정을 시작하기 위한 최선의 선택이라고 결정한 그의 어린 시절부터 시작된다.
사춘기 시절에는 고향에서 DJ 로 활동했지만 어느 순간에 그는 자신의 음악을 프로듀싱하고 플레이하는 것이 자신을 완전히 표현하는 길이라는 것을 이해한다.
그는 작년 Northallsen Records 에서 첫 EP 로 데뷔했다. 곧 그는 같은 레이블에서 두 번째 EP 를  발매한 후 Deepbass 의 레이블 Informa Records 에서 새로운 EP 를 발매한다. 이 EP 의 콘셉트 사운드는 내성적인 사운드스케이프와 문학적 개념을 매핑한 것이다.
그의 음색은 깔끔하고 견고한 베이스라인과 섬세한 사운드 디자인, 몽환적이고 때로는 우울한 앰비언트 요소들로 특징지어진다.

Kaf is a german producer whose roots are based in the genre of film music. His work is always attached with a very cinematic touch, which is also a result of the inspiration by many huge natural landscapes in every type of season. Kaf brings a special skill into his music by knowing a lot about several instruments, which he also plays. Before entering the world of Techno and Ambient, he experimented with a variety of different genres, so he includes a big palette of the best qualities out of his experience in his tracks.

The title of the imprint "static motion" suggests an innately paradoxical notion—a state of movement and non-movement at once, evoking a concept of being which seemingly cannot exist in the physical realm, or, inversely, a concept which exists in the realm of impermanence, without natural order, law or structure. The overarching dichotomies of time versus timelessness, being versus non-being direct the artistic approach of static motion towards that which is meditative and abstract, all through soundscapes of permanent foundations and fleeting details. 

The collaboration between rookas and Undveld is a three part work utilizing subtle contrast, fusing modulations with continuous waves, interchanging potent driving forces with a sense of stillness, and juxtaposing tense distortion with tranquil ambient depths. With each track, the EP focuses on the sonic details decorating the concrete foundations of techno as both artists delve into their familiar musical fields, yet remaining inventive, intense and capable of expressing change through constant variation of electronic tones and dynamic rhythms.

I want to take you on a journey deep into the blue. We travel in an old-fashioned craft, surrounded by dark waters of myths and fairy tales. The higher the pressure gets around us  the more open our souls become. Mermaid hymns leads the way as we undergo a metamorphosis, beyond the barriers in what we take for granted, a lighter life beyond this life appear.

나는 깊은 푸른색으로의 여정으로 너를 데려가고 싶다. 우리는 전래동화와 어두운 물속의 신화들로 둘러싸인 채, 유행이 지난 기계장치들 사이를 떠돈다.
더 높은 앞력이 우리 사이에 작용할수록, 우리의 영혼은 더 개방적이 된다. 인어의 찬가는 우리가 당연하게 여기는 장벽을 넘어, 이 삶을 초월하는 더 밝은 삶이 나타나도록, 우리가 변화하도록 이끈다.

Eyvind Blix is a musical phenomenon, blessed with the rare ability to utilize the entire sonic spectrum in his musical explorations, fusing hypnotic sonic texture with elements of monotonic darkness; he creates illusions, distorts perceptions, shakes realities. He invokes feelings of contradiction, first luring the listener into a place of dreamlike bliss, then forcing them into a surreal darkness where all notions of space and time are lost. These two contradictory strands of his weave together to form a dramatic, transcendent whole.

Eyvind Blix 는 최면적인 음향의 질감을 단조롭고 어두운 요소들과 혼합시키며, 전체적인 음악적 스펙트럼을 활용할 수 있는 특별한 능력을 지닌, 하나의 음악적 현상이다.
