On the 6th of February we held a party to celebrate our 2 years of Phormix. The line up of the event included a mix of both local and international DJs and producers in the likes of Dynamons, Morah, Miltiades, Svengalisghost on a live performance and last but not least  Mr. Mick Wills himself. The night was on fire and Mr Wills did his best to keep it that way. He played for three and a half hours straight making the crowd go wild and sweaty.The venue(Six D.o.g.s) never been so deep and dark before.  This set brings back colorfull memories to us! Also mr Mick  played more 5 hours at our after party in secret location.

Over the past thirteen years Lee Adams (Choronzon) has staged underground parties all over London. Additionally he has made guest appearances necromancing the decks at Gegen/Homopatik: The Golden Cage at Tresor Berlin for the CTM Festival, Antiworld at Brixton Academy, Unmasked and Jaded at Corsica Studios, Drone at Subland Berlin, Gegen at Kit Kat Club Berlin, the closing party of the SPILL International Performance Festival, Fire, Walk With Me, the opening party for the Black Movie Festival, Geneva, Body Probe at The Coronet London and most recently the 10th anniversary of Plex at Corsica Studios.
Lee also produced the UK debuts of In Aeternam Vale, ANFS & Sawf through the Modal Analysis showcase, Morah, Philipp Strobel head of aufnahme + wiedergabe and the London premiere of Douglas Lee's An-I project, in addition to producing  events featuring Rrose, Orphx, Ancient Methods Paula Temple and Samuel Kerridge.
In January 2016 Lee Adams launched Khemia Records with Pier Di Sorte as Manager. A new vinyl only electronic music label featuring some of the most compelling and respected international innovators working at the vanguard of techno, electronica and rhythmic noise.

On November 4th 2016 we had the pleasure of hosting Oliver Ho in Athens. He played an unforgettable DJ set after an amazing live performance as Broken English Club. It was a really special night with unique vibes that we want to share. Here is the recording of the DJ set for you to enjoy. This set brings back beautiful memories!
Bio
Since his debut in 1996 for Blueprint, Oliver Ho’s numerous projects are underlining his will for transcending the boundaries between musical genres that seem rather irreconcilable. Dozens of albums and EPs of his characteristic Millsian tribal techno on Blueprint, Surface and his own label Meta established him as a prominent figure in the thriving UK techno scene alongside Regis, Surgeon, James Ruskin etc. Despite his established character as a techno DJ since the mid 90s what makes Ho's artistic personality really unique is his ability of blending different styles with cutting edge dancefloor tools. Beats, screams and howls outline his individual path through the addictively obsolete sounds of post-punk, EBM, new wave, industrial and noise. His latest moniker 'Broken Engish Club' emphasizes in the balance between his view on dance music through a punkish prism and his abstract S&M, dystopian lyricism. His first BEC establishment on Jealous God was followed by a couple of releases on Veronica Vasicka's Cititrax (one split with Silent Servant) and a 7" on Ho's new label 'Death & Leisure'.The second release of the label is already out there; this time a project with Tommy Gillard called Zov Zov and a minialbum under the unholy title 'Sacred Pornography' are the Trojan horse for Ho's mixture of abstract soundscapes, where music feels almost elemental. Ho has released under various other aliases (Birdland, Life, Seeker, Veil) his most significant being Raudive.

Behind the moniker LVRIN hides a Russian producer named Jenya Lavrinov. He lives in a small town called Bryansk, has a delay and a pitch shifter among his friends and loves to horse around with them.This young man began to destroy his neighbours' ears when he was 19. At first with Ableton Live and just a couple of old synths, then with a hardware sequencer and a full range of other gear which was able to produce noises. Since Jenya got the ability to control the sound in real time with his own hands and heart, these noises had been merging into a dark, minor, reflective electronic post-punk and industrial records, facilely and naturally.After his magnificent debut on Pinkman’s “Broken Dreams” released earlier this year, he's preparing something new for the next one. In Jenya's plans for the near future there is a 12" on Lux Rec.'s sublabel MRT under his alias A Bleak Reality. Work on several other LVRIN's records is in progress as well.

Back in 2000 the Greek artist Sawf got into electronic music. He bought a synthesizer and a drum machine and started experimenting with sounds, setting the ground for his unique and raw style. Ιn 2011 he released his fist album “Flaws” on the UK label Perc Trax followed by several Eps on the same label.
Through the years Sawf has released numerous eps on labels such as Audio Assault (Netherlands), Prosthetic Pressings (USA) and more as well as  Greek record labels Kafta, Vanila,Modal Analysis.His latest release for 2016 is a track named "Imitators Sleep" in a cassette compilation on Phormix.
Together with fellow Greek artist ANFS, they have formed a project called Vofa counting two releases on Vanila and Pi Electronics respectively.
In 2016 he launched his own record label called KAFTA with a colorful ep, Ms Roxanne, consisting of 4 tracks by Sawf.
As a DJ, Sawf moves in many different directions, all with his distinctive industrial techno mood. His DJ sets differ from one another in style but as with his productions, his edits or reworks, all have this characteristic hypnotic feel to them.
Sawf is the great manipulator, he can make you lose control and take your body and soul for a ride.

We welcome the new year with this week's new mix from Eindkrak, a multi talented Dutch artist living in Amsterdam.
 He studies mathematics and physics, sings in a choir and plays classical guitar, but at the same time he is really into experimental electronics that is based on improvisation. Most people might have not heard of him yet but now it's time to pay attention.
As Eindkrak, he has released on Unknown Precept​, and he is preparing a second release for this label as well. He also plays in a duo with Toni Quiroga​ as Raum Zeit, they have a tape on AMOK Tapes​, releasing on Veleno Viola and Sign Bit Zero​.
In this mix there are also two tracks of a collaboration with Maoupa Mazzocchetti​. Most of the tracks in this mix are made by friends with a similar music taste and lots of Eindkrak and Raum Zeit material. Some tracks you will hear on releases at some point and some maybe never.

Last mix for 2017 comes from An-i 
 Described as a love affair with machines and human error Berlin based Producer/Dj Doug Lee’s latest project ‘An-i is an outcome of melding the production aesthetics of 80s punk and no-wave music alongside the thumping forward momentum of industrial techno.  Born in California in the 70’s Lee gained reputation moving to New York in 2002 as a integral  part of the NYC mutant disco scene. Collaborations with Lovefingers for ESP,  LIES Ron Morelli and Veronica Vasickas MinimalWave/Cititrax.  Where Lee foregrounded his techno and disco influences through his productions. Most recently a collaboration with Alessandro Adriani is to be included on Mannequin Records 100th release anniversary compilation “Waves of the Future" along with Silent Servant, Ron Morelli, Shawn O'Sullivan and Beau Wanzer.  The An-i project, constructed by punk affected iterations of techno, can elevate dancefloors through various states with his versatility of influences gathered from over two decades of digging and sharing with dancefloors throughout the world.

Pleased to present you the live recording from Credit 00 at Sameheads, Berlin 2017. 
Credit 00 is the name of the game - its like real life - you have one try - you fail you die (and there is no turning back). Emerging from an Hip Hop background, music always played the most important role - whether it gave the rhythm to breakdance to - or the soundtrack that blasted from a boom box while painting graffiti on walls in the mid 90ies. Traveling through the sonic universe ever since, Credit 00 is always busy researching all kinds of musical insipirations and mix these in search of the perfect beat. Rat Life Records became a home base for these experiments since 2014.

The recording was made on December 2017 for the Club Cosmic party at Sameheads. Sameheads is the hotspot of eclectic taste in Berlin. Alex never hesitates to play for Camp Cosmic or Club Cosmic because he knows it's going to be a jam inspired night amongs real music heads

Alex says whenever Specelex is inviting him to play for Camp Cosmic or Club Cosmic never hesitate because he is  know its always gonna be a jam for and with the real music heads.

Starting the label Rat Life in 2014 and counts 12 releases. Rat Life works as a platform for non genre related and focuses on just music to move your body and trip your mind.

TeZ Maurizio Martinucci (aka TeZ) is an interdisciplinary artist and independent researcher, living and working in Amsterdam, who has collaborated with Adi Newton, Scanner, Kim Cascone, Saverio Evangelista, Taylor Deupree, Sonia Cillari, Chris Salter, Honor Harger, Luca Spagnoletti and Domenico Sciajno amongst others. In 1990 he attended the school for Computer Music Programmers in Rome with many of Italy's best known specialists in sound and art technologies. He participated in workshops at the "Centro di Sonologia Computazionale" of the University of Padova, and at the "Tempo Reale" institute in Florence directed by Luciano Berio. Since the late eighties TeZ has been composing electronic and experimental music and has released records with various projects (M.S.B., DoseZero, Nukleus). Since 2010 he’s also official member of the renown industrial/electronic music pioneers Clock DVA.
TeZ uses technology as a means to explore perceptual effects and the relationship between sound, light and space. He focuses primarily on generative compositions with spatialized sound for live performances and installations. In his works he adopts custom developed software and hardware, featuring original techniques of sonification and visualization to investigate and magnify subtle vibrational phenomena. In recent years his research has extended to the ideation and creation of specific architectural structures and unconventional sound and light propagation methods to enhance immersivity and multisensory perception. TeZ is also the brainfather of the ‘Optofonica’ Lab for Synesthetic Art-Science, located in Amsterdam.
TeZ works have been shown at prestigious art venues and festivals such as: Ars Electronica and Lentos Kunstmuseum (Linz/AT), Dali’s Museum (St Peterburg/USA), Biennale of Digital Art (Montreal/ CA), Roma Europa Festival, NIMK (Amsterdam, NL), Transmediale (Berlin/DE),Wood Street Galleries (Pittsburgh/USA), _V2 (Rotterdam/NL), TodaysArt (Den Haag/NL), Le Cube (Paris/FR) among many others.

The Sixteen Steps is a project from British artist George Lanham who cut his musical teeth DJing and running events in the south east of England.He is also behaving the established InDisarray podcast series. Now based in Badalona, Spain, and making music heavily influenced by sequenced machine music, old and new.
