The Party was hosted by "Welldone" and the club was called "Suicide Circus". 

Circus could stand for "Joys" and Suicide for "Sorrows". 
But we can tell you that this is not the case.

"Joys & Sorrows" was created some time ago, but has always been on their minds to be released at the right time. 

They all had some great releases so far on labels like Armada Deep, No Definition, Off Recordings, Moonbootique and now...Nalu Nalu.

That´s a big thing for a small label wich just started to make its way through the music-jungle.

Summer is in full effect, and even as we enjoy the warm breeze and the occasional boat party, we never quit hunting for fresh music. This time, with a perfect EP for those who enjoy their dose of soul and funky rhythms. Making their OFF debut, Ben and Lennart, a duo hailing from northern Germany better known as Artenviefalt who have already built a reputation with releases on Stil Vor Talent or Light My Fire, provide us with all the right ingredients to make a crowd go wild.

"How We Chill" shows all their sampling skills in full effect, creating a laid back house anthem with a strong soul/hip hop influence and a lovely balearic vocal. A track with many magical moments that hit all the right keys.

"Long Beach" is the second track in the package, another laid back, funky number with a great rolling bassline, tasteful percussion and guitar licks. The german techno live band "Aggregat" is once again setting an example in the electronic music scene with the release of their track "Protoplasma" in the Artenvielfalt Remix.

Ben Sachau and Lennart Vonau come from North Germany. Both look back on a long history of producing music together as „Artenvielfalt“. They originated from the impulse of an own living space to improve and to contribute, therefore of the preservation of Flora and Fauna. Paulina Adler is a young girl from the German town Lübeck. Since the age of nine she loves to sing and to play the guitar. She mostly sings ballads and songs full of feelings, for example from Adele or from her own.
Artenvielfalt and Paulina Adler have united to produce the wonderful song „Stop Breathing“ together. The result of the cooperation of both shows us a cool mix with a text full of feelings combined with cool and fresh beats. „Stop breathing, buildings are breaking down, stop breathing and everyone is on their own“, this is the three times repeated chorus, chanted from Paulina Adler. We can be glad about the release on 30th January. The release presents us a really cool and excited track.

After the intro from „Stop Breathing “, with a cool saxophone, a classical violin, an acoustic guitar and other instruments, comes in the wonderful voice of Paulina Adler. The saxophone, the violin and the guitar give the intro the certain rest. To the first second the nice bass comes in the foreground and brings a cool mood to the song. While it becomes livelier in the stanzas, it's getting a little quieter in the chorus again, this gives indeed a good change to the track.

Die erste Artenvielfalt Platte mit MISS Natnat ist inzwischen draußen und jede Menge neue Tracks liegen hier schon fertig im Studio. Einen davon findet ihr auch in diesem Set. 2013 wird ein spannendes Jahr für uns und wir würden uns freuen wenn ihr uns weiterhin dabei begleitet!

Ben &  Lenny are real northern ligths. Both of them are looking back on a long musical history. The collaboration as "Artenvielfalt" was founded to create a better environment for everybody. 
"Art" and "diversity" is what they both take seriously.
Nothing bores them more then riding on the same style on and on again.
A mixture of nostalgia & modern spirit is impressing their deep, minimal & tech-house compositions. They are constantly on the hunt to find new spiecies in their audio adventures.
