The latest installment of our free download series welcomes Adam Sellouk and YLM with their take on Post Malone’s ‘Hollywood Bleeding’. Hailing from Israel, Adam Sellouk first emerged in 2021 with a contribution to Steyoyoke’s Paradigm collection. Immediately recognized for his astral sound, Adam quickly caught the attention of world class DJ Miss Monique, who signed him to her Siona Records imprint for a two-track showcase later that same year. Melodic house and techno tastemakers Agents of Time, Innellea, Kevin de Vries and Mathame were the first to chime in with support, as subsequent releases via Eleatics, Purified and UPPERGROUND followed across the next two calendar years. Seemingly in constant motion ever since, 2024 has proved to be a breakout year for Adam, adding Afterlife, Stimulate and Tomorrowland to his release resume, as well as touring the world showcasing his impeccable taste and exquisite programming skills. Meanwhile, fellow countryman and Tale of Us favourite YLM arrives fresh off a contribution to ERRROR’s ‘WRRONG TRACKS’ collection from July. With past reworks of Empire Of The Sun, Skrillex, Fred again.. & Flowdan, Adam now teams up with YLM to put their magical production touch on Post Malone’s ‘Hollywood Bleeding’. As the title track on the band’s 2019 album, ‘Hollywood Bleeding’ would go on to rack up well over five hundred million streams on Spotify, while the LP would achieve a litany of successes, most notably winning best album at the American Music and Billboard Music Awards. As played by Argy, AVIRA and Tale Of Us; Sellouk and YLM’s elusive take on ‘Hollywood Bleeding’ became a much requested rework across the last calendar year, one which we’re now happy to offer as a free download. Michael James debuts on Infuse to open the New Year, delivering three original productions in the form of his ‘Fat Earth’ EP. A surging name within the scene, Manchester’s Michael James is quickly becoming a staple name in the record bags of some of the biggest names in the game following an impressive string of releases via the likes of Constant Sound and sub-imprint Constant Black, Mulen Records and Hoarder. Taking inspiration from artists including Ricardo Villalobos and Zip through to Raresh, Rhadoo and Barac, the blossoming producer, DJ and digger has forged a sound combining his own take on house, minimal and dub techno – resulting in appearances at the likes of fabric (London), S.A.S.H (Sydney) and DC-10 (Ibiza), not to mention his long-standing residency at The Zoo Project. Opening 2020, here we see James’ latest effort as he touches down on FUSE sister label Infuse to reveal the infectious three-track ‘Fat Earth’ EP. Title cut ‘Fat Earth’ opens proceedings in slick fashion, fusing skipping hats and evolving electronics amongst swinging rhythms.
