We are a start-up label from Weimar in Thuringia/ Germany which has specialized in the releasing of House and Deep House music.
After long-standing experiences as DJs and producers in the area of electronic music we had to find out that in spite of the existence of a variety of different underground labels „something is missing“. With the foundation of „artflakes recordings" we want to offer another opportunity to present House and Deep House music as an accepted art form.
With „artflakes recordings" we would like to release not only music, but tracks with depth. We want no mediocrity, but prove that music from the "underground" can be professionally produced. Hence, it is important to us that „artflakes recordings" releases music that is honest and authentic, in other words, music that is "real”.
House and Deep House can feature different forms and styles. Therefore the tracks on our label should be very much different referring to expression and sound. Therefore, we don’t want to limit the label according to style.
