between journeys, empty towns, and hotel room vows.
I mapped every fear you still haven’t named,
you’ll never know you the way that I claimed.
We spoke without words—louder than sound.
We built a whole life without solid ground.
We flew past the limits of what they permit,
two bodies in flames, refusing to quit.
We weren’t just lovers—we fought to stay whole,
and drowned in the places we gave too much soul.
Touching too much...
still left us needing more...

I held you through storms, your face in my hands.
You watched me collapse, still trying to stand.
We loved so hard we turned love into pain.
We lost ourselves with no way back again.
We saw things together no one will believe.
We shared all the beauty, the lies, the disease.
We dreamt like the mad, we prayed like the blind.
We broke what we touched, yet we still tried.
We had the whole sky, and still we would choke,
like drowning on air, like breathing in smoke.
And still, I'd go back to the edge of that night,
where I was your answer, and you were my light.

How cruel that true love still fades into gray,
that the strongest of flames just burns away.
We reached the last step, but the rope wouldn’t hold—
we were inches from gold, but too broken, too cold.
No kiss can fix what surrender denies.
No promise survives when a part of you hides.
But even if we live as strangers or ghosts…
what we burned still lives in us both.

We gave all the madness, the flesh and the trust,
we lived through a time that demanded too much.
We were from different planets, skin, minds, and names—
but still we collided and burned just the same.
