It's been said many times that opposites attract.  And this seems to be the case with the very distinct and different personalities that make up the Art Heist musical project.  Andrew Fowler with his quiet and introverted personality bringing a deep background of musical instrumentation, producing and recording.  Matt Bryant always aggressive, impatient and loud coming from a recreation and athletics based background.  Is it their mutual love for classic recordings from Pink Floyd, The Beatles and Neil Young, or their connection from playing music from more modern artists such as Radiohead, Pearl Jam and Weezer?  Not sure, but something has clicked and when the two of them get together the creativity streams in and the differences seem to melt away into an easy musical connection.
The relationship began with the creation of multiple songs that were soon shaped into their debut album.  This then led to the recording.  A long and deliberate process that not only saw Andrew playing all the instruments but also acting as producer and engineer.  Maybe it was the frustration and differences between Andrew and Matt or the many months spent away from each other between sessions?  What emerged was the debut album from Art Heist.
Andrew's love for guitar brought a highly technical feel and style to the record.  Crafting the lyrics and songs into the vision Matt portrayed, Andrew created timeless music that spans all borders and boundaries.  The record is a journey through the highs and lows experienced during relationships.  From the best of times to the worst, the songs blend together as one classic record.
To finish the project the record was mastered in Hollywood by a legend in the industry, Bernie Grundman.  The record is now complete and set to be released to the world on March 9th 2018.
