Based out of São Paulo, CHADE entered the scene in 2011 as he founded the Rádio Good Stuff, an online platform for musical diffusion that included live stream shows, podcasts and musical events. Through the Radio came the first invitations to take over the turntables at events of the underground scene. He used the name “Funky B” from 2013 to the first half of 2016.

Over the last 8 years as DJ, he’s played at every stage you can imagine, from huge private parties to public space occupations, along with surfing and skateboarding competitions, weddings, universities, corporate events, electronic music festivals, and public events.

Beyond São Paulo State and its massive capital, countryside and coastal cities, he’s also played all across the country, including the national capital Brasília, Salvador, Goiânia, Campo Grande, Belo Horizonte, Florianópolis and Rio de Janeiro. CHADE has already shared the line-up with huge names of the alternative scene, like Bixiga 70, BNegão & Seletores de Frequência, Nação Zumbi, Gabriel O Pensador, Céu, and even the internationals Pato Banton and Hypnotic Brass Ensemble.

His musical research comprehensively covers the diverse branches of Brazilian music, from the unknown regional drums to the latest radio hits. His repertoire has no borders however, combining in worldwide flavors, such as Funk, Soul, Hip-Hop and Reggae. His Musical research, from the 70s until now, all sum up to lively but smooth universal grooves.

Among the events he fronted as the producer, the FINO & FARTO party is definitely a highlight. The multicultural event brought together the most diverse musical genres, as long as it made people dance, in an environment infused with exhibitions from local artists, live paintings and art projections. Running from 2012 to 2017, the event had 20 editions received 21 bands and 25 DJs from São Paulo’s underground scene. In another partnership, CHADE also created FEELING NUTS, a Hip-Hop focused event. There he had the opportunity to perform alongside Brazilian Hip-Hop moguls such as KL Jay (Racionais MC’s), DJ Nuts (Marcelo D2), DJ CIA (RZO), Erick Jay and DJ Hum.
