As the name suggests , i needed a track that would show i am not only one directional , i keep within the bounds of underground electronic beats , some softer some more tough but it is an early warning that the rest of the album is turning into the likes of techno and things are gonna get nasty from here:)
This was recorded live , almost all of the elements and sound come from external units and was just arranged and mixed in DAW .

EARLY WARNING

Formations have been heavily influenced by my techno side of things , i produce music based on my mood and feelings , i wanted the end of the album to have as much bite and energy as possible , still introduce some elements that would be surprising and engaging to the ears . This feels like the end of my life show normally , i like to build and form my sets constantly going up in temp and energy . I don't think i can play all night set , God only knows how would that end up ... probably in some hardcore haha .

FORMATIONS

At the end of this journey i wanted to be One Step Closer to fulfilment and achievement of the first album release , i needed this track to be a statement that i will not go away lightly , raw sounds , live recorded elements some unprocessed but all together punchy and strong . There is an old school vibe to 909 sounds on it and weird arrangement turns in place but as i said , mostly produced live and it was important to keep it raw and unpolished , somehow it work in my head ...

ONE STEP CLOSER

Dessimo was meant to a bridge between the melo side of the album and techno side of it . It is easy but has nicely deep and weird with some strange fx sounds right through . Rolling arp sound was recovered from and old synth , i think it was Roland rs-70 . Somehow i fell for the way that arp rolls on the top of that beat and moved me enough in my studio for it to qualify to be included in this album . I needed that as a transformation and it gave me much more i think.

Arthur Keen is a Producer, DJ and a Live Performer. Started playing in 2002 as a Hard Dance dj two years after that he got influenced by techno and tech house vibes and reinvent himself as a dj and producer. With Poison Agency which has been running and organising events in London and Poland Arthur had a chance to be at the very front of the scene and it's changes. With the time and drive to do more and more he pushed to become a Live Performer. With unique approach and experimental spirit he manages to create his own stamp on electronic scene. As a Republic Artist resident at the moment you can catch him playing in various venues in London.
