From the early days of Arthur the Stoat,  this song was written in a sunny garden in Suffolk prior to our first classic gig.  June midsummer 1993.

Arthur the Stoat were formed in 1992-3 in rural Suffolk.  They are comprised of multi-instrumentalists Pete "Fox" Haynes, Tim "Tigger" Rafferty and Mike "Jackal" Bushell on vocals.  Over the period 1992-1994 they composed their initial repertoire and performed several memorable gigs, along with bass player Lucy Dickman, "Baby Moorhen" and dancer Timothei.  They continue to re-form every year or two and add to their canon of quirky, melodic music.  Mike went on to become the face of BBC Breakfast TV Sports and Tim and Pete maintain careers as field ecologists.
