Gus Van Sound va començar la seva carrera com a DJ el 1995 a la sala KGB de Barcelona, marcant l'inici d'una trajectòria que abasta més de 30 anys. Durant aquests anys, ha recorregut els clubs més icònics de la ciutat i gran part de la península, així com els festivals internacionals més importants com Sónar, Monegros, Electric Picnic i OffWeek, actuant també en països com Anglaterra, França, Grècia, Irlanda i Suïssa.

Després de consolidar-se com a resident en els clubs La Paloma i Moog, va aprofundir en la indústria discogràfica, cofundant i dirigint els segells Polybius Trax i Clásicos del Ruido durant quatre anys. El seu talent va ser reconegut per la revista FACT Magazine, que el va destacar com un dels DJs essencials. Presentador de diversos programes a ScannerFM, mostrant la seva visió musical. Després de 10 anys com a resident al Moog, va reprendre el seu camí discogràfic, col·laborant en la creació del segell Knaïv Records i gestionant els estudis 24Lab. Amb més de tres dècades de trajectòria, Gus Van Sound encara és una figura central i influent en l'escena electrònica global.
