'And Finally... a Memory' by Max Adoubleyou tries to capture how anything in life⏤mainly the good things⏤eventually fade to memory. The title track's mix of happiness and melancholy is an attempt to express the feeling of gratitude that something good has happened, but also the sense of loss when it's over. It reflects on the fact that in the end everything merely exists as memory in your head. Woodwind experimentalist and electronic producer Dillon Baiocchi recorded the sax on this track.

The sound is inspired by  the inventive 80s Japanese New Wave artists and synthesizer pioneers like Haruomi Hosono, Shimizu Yasuaki, Ippu-do and Ryuichi Sakamoto, Max Adoubleyou attempts to craft largely optimistic-sounding electronic soundscapes that have a pinch of melancholy lurking behind its horizon. Max likes creating slightly quirky but highly melodic synth music backed up by percussive elements, by combining newly synthesised sounds, recorded instruments and sampled old drum computers.

The track 'Sun Dog' is a simple piano piece that develops into a lush synthscape. This one has been on the shelve for years so it's nice to finally put it out. The second track 'Maison d'Artiste' is a fusion inspired pop song. It's quite an uplifting tune, I think. I hope you enjoy these two :)
