After almost a year hiatus, Artikle 9 is back with a true headline set dancefloor stomper!

I've always loved trance, the tempo, the energy and the euphoric melodies.  I thought it was time to give it a go at making a track.

This is the fastest tempo track I have made, and the second since moving final production to the Cubase platform.  I've used Arturia Modular for the sub, DX7 for the acid lead, and several instances of Serum.

Unlike most of my other tracks the kick is incredibly simple, the driving groove of the track gives it energy and tension without complicated percussion.

DEMO Only Tortured Silence by These Guitars Say Sorry

Having been working in and around music based events for almost 30 years, London based DJ Rob Stanley launched his "Artikle 9" moniker during 2020. 

"It's easy to say making tracks rather than music was the product of lockdown for me, however I really wanted to learn how to do more than just use a DAW to do DJ Mixes.  I'd been using Ableton Live as a production tool for mixes for over 12 years, so figured it was time to do a course.

Music wise I've always loved the early 90s electronic scene, so pretty much all the tracks I do will feature a synth, sound, or plugin to replicate sounds from that era.  Then there's Disco, house, and more ambient stuff.
The most important thing is that I don't pretend what I do is deep, meaningful,  or designed to change the world....  Hope you enjoy..."
