ARTIMIST80 (AKA Ricardo Soares), is an emerging figure in the Synthwave and Retrowave scene, who has finally gone solo after more than a decade of producing music hits for other artists.

ARTIMIST80 reflects his cinematic and musical culture approach, with emotional soundscapes, melodic dreaming feels, the need for a comeback from the past, and telling stories through his own vision of a dramatic and romantic reality. 
ARTIMIST80 explores his experience has a musical producer through the happiness of a new world, mixed with a seek for a new unattainable childhood.

ARTIMIST80 produces all of his work in his hometown, at his own studio - Soundtrap Productions (Porto, Portugal) - creating Synthpop / Retrowave / Outrun tracks, produced by himself.

This is a truly global project, which includes ARTIMIST80 80´s vibes, taking us to a travel along unique, unforgettable emotional and imaginary paths…
