With releases on multiple specialized labels and residency spots for independent radio stations he spreads a selection of forward-thinking music based on empathy, life in a fast-changing world, and the exploration of how we connect to music with our bodies.


Jungle of Mind EP is about the paradox of the mind, which is at the same time chaotic and structured. The strength of the mind is both driving our progress as humans and at the same time the cause of many of the challenges we have to deal with. Music has a direct impact on this chaos and structure, which is explored on this new EP.

The 33rd release of katharsis is the EP “unearthed, recovered” by the Canadian artist online threat. This release pulls from the dissociated feeling of re-discovering artifacts of remembrance that were once thought to be forever lost, and finding a glimmer of hope as a result. The project accesses a flurry of genres - hard trance, noise, and ambient all find a place here, packing contradicting sounds together in order to birth new sonic possibilities. “unearthed, recovered” is emotional, grotesque and at moments beautiful with its sense of longing and melancholy, a crescendo of tensions followed by an exhale.

On this release, online threat excavates the hidden sonic potentialities of field recordings, samples and synthesis, borrowing their voices to spin immersive narrative tales through his stream-of-consciousness improvisational method. The EP is the artist's third release, following the EP “Memories of Dawns Lost” and the full album “Contrapuntal Transfiguration” on labels surf and Absurd TRAX, besides a couple of self-released tracks and mixfiles. The artwork was made by Matej Mihevc ( @h.265_/ ) who framed and contextualized a painting by Victoria Palacios ( @victoriapalacios_ ), reflecting the sense of decay and reminiscence that the album thematizes.

New mix for our series was prepared by the Portuguese duo 7777 の天使, which includes producers and DJs Pedro Menezes aka Swan Palace and Luís Medeiros aka DRVGジラ.

Last February, the duo released their EP “Thousand Blades Our Wishes” on Berlin label “Soul Feeder”. A year earlier, the duo’s debut full-length album “Seven Angels” was also presented on the platform. In addition to both records, their discography includes the mini-albums “Bruised Grills Eternal Tears” (2020) and “Ski Mask Angels” (2019).

Among the latest solo works of the musicians, it is additionally worth noting Luís’s single “Suicidecity 222” (feat. 2heaven), released in early September, and the composition “Hold Me Like a Harness” from Pedro, which was written back in 2019 and released only in the fall of 2022.
