A wise force to be reckoned with, Black Page is a premier Dallas artist known best for her strong and soulful performances that stimulate the intellect and moves the spirit. Her eclectic style mixes equal parts spoken word, soul, and hip.hop in a recipe that keeps audiences packed to see this phenomenal presence. She has involved herself in the entertainment industry since 1999 working inside some of the most noted record labels, collaborating with and opening for a distinguished roster of artist like KRS- 1, Sonia Sanchez, Malcolm-Jamal Warner, N’dambi, Jill Scott, Professor Griff (Public Enemy), Erykah Badu, Oleta Adams, Tramain Hawkins, and Roger Bonair Agard (1999 National Poetry Slam Champion) just to name a few, with more phenomenal show dates lined up. Features in the Dallas Morning News, Rolling Out Magazine, the Deep Ellum Arts Festival, SBC Black History Celebration, Tampax Total You Tour, the Dallas Black Expo, Ebony Black Family Reunion Tour, 97.9 the BEAT (Dallas Radio One Station/ Hosted by Rickey Smiley), POWER 99 Inner City (Philadelphia Radio One Station/ Hosted by Tiffany Bacon), KNON 89.3 (Dallas), and SOUL 73 KKDA AM (Dallas), and numerous features at the world renowned Black Academy of Arts & Letters (TBAAL- DALLAS) add to her growing credentials too. She has performed, competed and won numerous poetry slams across the country.
