Here is my remix of Pyrate's "Guest List", wanted to flip the vibe of the track into something that would be played at a late night warehouse rave.

I love the original track and it's been fun messing with the stems.

"Drifting Away" is a little song I made with my friend Thando (thndo)—a soul singer from Melbourne with this knockout voice (you might’ve seen her on The Voice AU a while back). We go way back—used to play in bands together, and she’s always been one of those people who just gets music.

I wanted her vocals to sound like a worn-in soul sample, so we tried something fun: recorded them slower, then pitched them up to sit in the track all warm and fluttery. It’s got verses and a chorus like a proper song, but it bumps enough for the club, which felt like a fun balance.

A mate joked it was “the Bohemian Rhapsody of speed garage,” which is… generous, ha. But mostly, it’s just nice to make things with old friends. Hope you like it.
