With a background in venture cap and a current interest in organic agriculture, it wouldn't make sense for this gentleman hailing out of Long Island NY to be obsessive compulsive about his underground dance music. But cultivating an ear for crisp original dance music has been his primary past time for the past 12 years. 

With main influences being guys like John Digweed for his longevity and dedication to forward thinking music, Bret Grove aka Arts & The Craft began taking an interest in DJing in 2010. From there he began dabbling in production in late 2013 learning from close friends Moth 808(Alexis Shamanah),Jonny Cruz,Silky,and Eric Volta. With an eagerness and passion to learn he has been cultivating his sound and always says he looks forward to continuing to be a student of electronic music.

Music icons and inspirational influences include Lionel Richie, Depeche Mode, Fleetwood Mac, Erasure, Kool G Rap, Nirvana, Herbie Hancock, Frankie Valli, The Beegees, Sade, Hall & Oates, Robag Wruhme, DJ Koze, Superpitcher, Daphni, and Eric Volta amongst others.
