Time To Act provides the first transnational evidence that lack of knowledge in the mainstream cultural sector is a key barrier preventing disabled artists and arts professionals from participating equally in European culture.

Time to act report. Executive Summary in English

Listen to the audio version presenting the main findings of the Time to Act report. The study by On the Move, the international cultural mobility network, was commissioned by the British Council and addresses the level of knowledge and experience held by European cultural operators in relation to disabled artists and their works.

Time to Act was conducted in 2020 and 2021 through an analysis of relevant literature, semi-structured interviews, and an online survey. The main findings presented in this audio recording - and therefore the study - are structured in three major areas: Knowledge, Experience and Solutions.

Feeling Her Way by Sonia Boyce is now on display at the British Pavilion as part of the 59th International Art Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia, in Venice, Italy.
