It's time to set sail as the label manager of Navigare Audio navigates his knowledge of music with a passion for nature and creativity. The driving force behind the label's graphical aesthetics, and with roots in the downtempo/-ambient and psychedelic trance scene. Straight outta Örebro, the infamous rave capital of Sweden, Fredrik’s path through the rabbit holes of Electronica has been an ever-growing, never-ending exploration through rhythms, patterns, concepts and soundscapes since the innocent 90's. Having always had a keen ear to atmosphere and lysergic depth, he’s been a widely acclaimed DJ across Scandinavia and the European festival scene, spanning from meditative Ambient, through Dub and Broken Beats to his significant uptempo TechnoTrance-hybrid sound. Since 2018 he’s the co-manager and graphic designer of Navigare Audio, a record label rooted in his love and dedication for nature, dance, art and deep, hi-fi techno.

A new beginning has arrived..

I invite you to dive deep into my inaugural set recorded at the soft-launch of Zanda Rec — 17.06.2023 named ‘New Beginnings’

As you may know, Zanda is my new events brand and record label based in the Northern Rivers of Australia (Bundjalung Country).

I had the opportunity to run an open-air event with an intimate crowd of friends to start its journey.

And the beginning of this journey has been ever so blissful… 

I named the mix 'New Beginnings' as it's the first under my solo alias 'Torü Szafar'. 

After waiting for the right moment to release the mix, I am thrilled to be finally sharing it with you all. 

It encapsulates what I have been listening to recently and shows some of the sounds I want to share. 

You will find a mixture of deep house and techno tracks by some incredible artists, as well as four original productions (3 of those unreleased). 

I hope you all enjoy the mix and feel the energy from the night. It was a wonderful experience collecting all these tracks and playing them to a beautiful crowd in a luscious, cozy environment.

Hailing from the vibrant electronic hotbed of Örebro, Sweden, Fredrik Navigare navigates himself through the ever-evolving labyrinth of electronica. His journey commenced in the halcyon days of the 90s and has since evolved into an unceasing expedition, charting uncharted territories of rhythms, patterns, concepts, and immersive sonic landscapes.

Since 2018, He fused his musical qualities with co-managing and graphically designing Navigare Audio, a label dedicated to high-grade, profound techno. Digging through its discography and anticipating its next releases is highly recommended. Also, we can share that the latter will cover some much-cherished figures affiliated to our series (and upcoming project) as well..

PURPLE BRAIN is an established music and art collective that spreads eclectic and intelligent electronic music in the Italian capital: Rome. In the last years they also crossed the ocean bringing their sound and concept overseas to India, managing a Luigi Tozzi tour, and they will present many more artists this year. On radiOzora, they will present the most representative guests show after show, who performed at their events. For this episode, Purple Brain invites WORG. Worg is an electronic music composer, producer, sound designer and live performer based in Rome. At the end of the Anno Urbis MMXVIII he founds and creates his own label "Lykos Records”. He explores sounds that range from experimental techno through ambient approaching deep techno. Captivating textures, persistent rhythm and metallic discordance merge both live and during studio production. Noise, smooth pads, shifting sounds and slight and hypnotic melodies are the characteristic elements of his music, giving particular attention to search both complex and distinct sonorities. These heterogeneous elements give life to a deep sound enveloped in a dark gloomy haze. His attempt is to accompany the audience in a voyage through oniric and spectral soundscapes. Dystopian places and fantasies located in imaginative habitats, result in Worg's vision.
