Evolving soundscapes with melancholic progressions, where organic orchestral passages meet dusty synthesiser sequences. Finnish composer Arttu Silvast captures a unique sound, that opens up new worlds and stories in the listener's imagination. 

Hovering between neo-classical music and electronic ambient, Arttu Silvast cites artists like Vangelis, Ólafur Arnalds and Brian Eno as his key influences.  Having lived and worked in different parts of the world, his years in South East Asia had the most permanent effect on his musical consciousness. 

The Helsinki-based composer is best known for his widely received debut solo album 'Polarity' (2021) but has a long list of releases under his belt including soundtracks and collaborations with USA and UK-based artists.
