nice night club music, do you use vst/synths only or also real instruments?

like the abrupt shift at 13 or so..percussion burst with cymbals is really neat...I think the "vocal" really adds to the mellow/jazz/"cool" sense to the song....the picture with colors flowing from the phonograph sort of says it all
