Cloudive returns to Silk Textures with a triumphant follow-up to his previous "Feelin Lovin' / Try It Again" EP. Better known as Trance & Progressive talent Aleksey Yakovlev, Cloudive has successfully re-invented himself as a veritable threat in the exploding niche of deep house. 

His latest effort, "I Wanna Know", is another smooth and groovy after-hours gem, centered on a titular vocal hook. A classic deep house bassline helps to guide the listener along, as well as a variety of atmospheric pads. The one and only remix in the package comes from fellow veteran Zan Preveé, whose last remix for our imprint received radio support from Above & Beyond. A chunky groove gives his rendering plenty of dancefloor appeal, while a variety of light arps and vocal stabs fill out the mid-range.

Perpetual are Fredrik Lindblom and Henrik Collin who have been together and releasing quality trance since 2001. They debut on Enhanced with a singer that's no stranger to the label, Tiff Lacey with the slick 'Restless.' If groovy melodic prog is your bag then this will surely find favour with you. Remixes come from Enhanced stalwarts MoodFreak, Arty and newcomer Matt Holliday, ahead of his 'Your Touch' release later this year. MoodFreak chops the vocal and layers it over his irresistible groove, whilst Arty creates a huge, big room lead and Matt Holliday shows us his quality with a well layered melodic rendition.

Carlos Almedia aka Miikka Leinonen brings his groovy progressive sounds to Alter Ego, and what a way to do it. Devilish synth stabs dominate the atmosphere while a plucky lead whisks you along in the mix, not forgetting the chunky groove of course! Russian producer Arty works his progressive magic on Fat Yet Horny and whips up a smooth yet powerful rendition. A crisp and amazingly well produced remix that works perfect through the warm up sets! To complete this single Mark Sonus provides a final remix with a unique take on the track. Crafting some extra melodies has really brought his mix to life. A new bass line also makes this a perfect alternative to the package!

There are fewer producers who symbolize the Coldharbour Recordings story better than Englishman Mike Foyle. Dabbling in various production styles under a number of aliases, it is his work under the name of Statica that has made him a much respected figure in the community, from 'Space Guitar' to 'Bittersweet Nightshade', and to its little brother, 'Deadly Nightshade', released at the beginning of 2010.

Now, Mike returns to light up Coldharbour's summer of 2010, with a double shot of melodic progressive trance grooves which have been much anticipated for many months.

Up first is 'Blossom', a track which soothed the mind of many when listening to Disc 1 of Markus Schulz's Las Vegas '10 compilation. The original subsequently became a fan favorite on Markus' Global DJ Broadcast radio show, with regular plays as the seasons changed from winter to spring.

On remix duties for 'Blossom' is one of the undoubted breakout talents of 2010, in the form of Russian Arty. Already a strong presence on Global DJ Broadcast playlists thanks to his plethora of originals and remixes, he makes his Coldharbour Recordings bow by giving 'Blossom' more of a big room feel, and was a highlight as Markus kicked off another Ibiza Summer Sessions season.

However, not to be overshadowed by 'Blossom', Mike also presents a beautiful and touching effort in the shape of 'Sundown', with a beautiful melody supplemented by some mesmerizing Japanese vocals. Many are declaring 'Sundown' as Mike's best work to date, and those sentiments are justified with one of the highlights of Coldharbour's summer releases.

With the sun splitting the trees, Mike Foyle's latest presentations are sure to provide a fitting soundtrack to a beautiful setting.
