@user-469015328: It's certainly not "run-of-the-mill" for me. The biggest problem I had was starting to write the lyrics with a title  that I had no idea WHAT TO DO WITH, the  theme altered and I eventually reached an ending of sorts leaving me to find a title.  In fact it was based on one of my favourite Suno personas so is not too far from a number of other songs I have  under my belt. So yes prosaic is probably a description I would agree with, Thanks for a refreshingly honest comment.

I am trying hard to come up with songs that are, for me, different. In this song two people meet, recognising a common feeling of loneliness, they go for a coffee and chat about their respective issues. Afterwards they agree to mee t again - cue for a follow up song - or two.

I have tried to work with an unexpected structure, short verses and longer choruses. AND staying away from cliche rhymes by actively staying away from rhymes altogether. I like it and although I found it difficult to stay within it's boundaries, I  have come to love the way I flowed from verse to pre -chorus to chorus. I really hope to complete the story in a trilogy at some time in the near future.

My mum always played the piano in her slippers, her mother did not want her to damaged the instrument.  She even took her slippers to the Guildhall School of Music and Drama exam, she thought everyone played the piano in slippers. So I recorded a favourite track of hers, in one take, which I was very happy with, though I did shed a tear as I put my slippers on.

The music for "Blueberry Hill" was composed by Vincent Rose with lyrics written by Larry Stock and Al Lewis. The song was turned down by another publisher until being bought and published in 1940 by Chappell & Company. The song was recorded over ten times that year.

I have been writing songs since1959 until the present. As a songwriter, I am more than happy with the wide range of songs I have written over the years. But my musical skills are quite limited and the early demos on Souncloud are of me singing  and accompanying myself on guitar or latterly ukulele. I can strum the strings well enough, but there my skills end.

Recently I discovered Suno AI and the results astounded me. I could finally produce demos of my songs to be proud of. I am currently going thru my catalogue of songs and producing AI assisted demos. I know many musicians turn away from AI but it has a place for me. There is no other way I could have obtained some 300 demos to this level. I do not and do not intend to look for any reward except the satisfaction that hearing my own songs gives me.

I am still writing and hope to have many more years of songs left in me, Enjoy if you can and I would love to hear your comments on the tracks, if the music moves you at all.
