When in school, I was the Blue House Captain, got prizes for elocution, debates, chess, short-story writing, essay writing... well, what i'm trying to say is that I was a dud at outdoor sports.

However, destiny took me to the Indian Military Academy in Dehradun where I learnt front-rolling on bajri roads, sleeping with eyes open, running to class with my bike on my head, and getting a record number of 'extra drills' as well as 'restrictions' for trying to read after lights-out!!

Spent 24 years polishing sales skills with a multi-national pharma giant after leaving the OG-days, and am now slowly getting into creative writing phase. Have spent quite a few years heading corporate communications too and knowing the media closely.

My wife (Dr Sangita Passey) was a Commonwealth Scholar and completed her DPhil from the Univ of York, UK and is now HOD at MBIT in Delhi. My son Pushkin did his Masters in Architecture from AA, London and is right now working with Battle McCarthy in London.
