If you've come from my lofi stuff: Glad you've heard my other stuff, but here's something totally different from the usual and I absolutely loved making this :)

If this is the first song of mine you're listening to: Here's the first orchestral song I've made for this account. I normally make Lofi songs but i wanted to branch out and work on producing orchestral like pieces for movies/games/anime some time in the near future, so I had to start from somewhere XD

Hey guys, I hope you're all doing alright, staying hydrated, and overall chilling.

I said before that I was going to shift away from Lofi to focus more on Orchestral works, and what better way to start off with a soundtrack from both FFXIV and FFIII? I picked up FFXIV thanks to the recommendation of a friend and recently beat Shadowbringers, which was one of the best experiences I've had in a video game. Particularly the most recent patch, which was an amazing conclusion to an amazing expansion. The song that was used here is heavily involved with the Crystal Tower arc (and apparently FFIII, which I haven't played), and it really put an impression on me, but I was only thinking of just learning to play it on the piano and keep it at that.

But after the most recent patch, I felt like I had to make a proper orchestral for two reasons, one of them being one of my favourite characters in the game, and the other being as a show of thanks and appreciation to my Free Company in the game. I'm a relatively new player and you guys have been nothing but welcoming, even if I barely have the guts to hop on voice chat because my introverted self is too scared xD

The second of various OST sketches that I plan to make to try out new things and ideas. Unlike my other orchestrals, these will sound more like background music you'd hear in some anime or games. Look forward to these, I really have a lot of fun making them, simple as they are.

I don't have much to say about this one. I just felt really melancholic and really wanted to make something using strings. Just thinking about people I used to talk to that don't anymore, and kinda thinking back to the good times. I like stuff the way they are now of course, but I can't help missing things from before as well...

when things were alright

Technically I'm on hiatus right now to focus on university, but I had an idea while and I was just thinking to myself "I have to make this ASAP" and brought myself over to Logic Pro X. I was able to get over one of my current blocks and managed to make actually decent sounding orchestral percussion so that's nice.

And the above doesn't necessarily apply to just actual flying.
