Following on from the success of his debut EP (Fall Then Rise) for the label, we asked Eusebeia to contribute a second EP. Carving out his own place inside the Samurai Music soundscape has come effortlessly for Seb and the tracks for the Omen EP flowed quickly. EP opener Auspice is the odd one out on the EP, with sinister sonics weaving around a steady kick drum bounce absent of Seb's trademark break-work. Sparse and haunting - it sets the scene for title track Omen where Seb lays out a time capsule summation of his sonic identity - contemplative ambience, rumbling bottom end and breakbeat craftsmanship. Indicia burrows deeper into emotive territory and cuts breaks so they wrap around the plaintive melodic content. Signs and Signals is perhaps the most direct tune on the EP, but still, the undeniable power of the breaks and bass is welded to the expressive atmosphere.

Over the course of 13 tracks DYL dives deep in his personal moods and feelings. It's a collection of tracks, reflecting on influences and moments of confidence versus doubt in the past year. Trying to interpretate these feels into sounds with the series of Interpretare tracks, healing his mental state. As always with DYL's production it's an exciting ride along futuristic rhythms, hazy atmospheres and loads of dub influenced elements. Ranging from drifting drum & bass to experimental drum work-outs, all captured in a foggy mist of beautiful pads and scapes.

Released as full length digital album with a selection of six tracks to be released on vinyl in a limited batch of 115 housed in hand printed sleeves.

London based producer Vromm creates some wonderful beat science and future electronic jazz vibes on his debut recording for R&S Records.

With a penchant for UK bass and beats culture that has influenced him since the late 1980s, Vromm has released a steady stream of EPs over the last ten years for labels such as Critical Music, Over/Shadow, ThirtyOne Recordings and Om Unit’s Cosmic Bridge imprint.

On ‘Red Tuna’, Vromm opens a magic box of crunching breakbeat rhythms, dubwise reverberations and cold & jazzy synth licks for an impressively intelligent and modern track that dips into many electronic genres and becomes something truly unique.

In May 2016, Trevino a.k.a. Marcus Intalex released his acclaimed debut album, ‘Front’, on his own Birdie label. Almost exactly seven years on, the follow-up album ‘Back’ will be released posthumously, marking the final Trevino album. The release date is scheduled for the 26th May to mark the six-year anniversary of Marcus passing (28th May 2017). 

Although most of the tracks for 'Back' were made during Marcus' time in Berlin, he moved back to Manchester in early 2017 to make the most of his home studio. The Trevino moniker was an output for Marcus to return to his love of house and techno, inspired by his experience of working in record shops from a young age where he would be receiving records spanning across Chicago house and Detroit techno - most notably referencing the Belleville Three as a key influence. 


The producer, named after his favourite golfer Lee Trevino, has loosely based the two-part album project on the ‘Front’ nine and ‘Back’ nine holes in the sport. This theme runs throughout, with the artwork based on the plans for Hillside golf course.

Back is released on 2x12" in Full Artwork Sleeve and Digital on May 26 2023.
