Eulogy is a song about the suffocating effects of domestic abuse, manipulation, and gaslighting — a journey into a dark place where hopelessness and isolation drain your identity and freedom, without even realizing it until the very end. The song screams for liberation, salvation, and the need for the oppressed version of one self to 'die,' marking the end of an abusive cycle and the birth of a new self, like a phoenix rising from the ashes.

It was December when I turned away
