The first release in 2024 comes from our long-term friend and artist KARAAT who is based in Stuttgart and together with Minimalte part of the infamous local Herz & Seele events. The 4-track „Dice EP“ is his next clue on AS USUAL MUSIC and we are superhappy to accompany and push this musical evolution to the next level.

Title track „Dice“ is an ultra-sophisticated tune that screws inconspicuously under the skin. A long road of testing made it become super-tight and well-balanced, suitable for various dance floors as well as listening pleasures. Seductive percussions and a sweeping bassline are melting with a hypnotizing synth and emotive vocal cuts. Potential hit!

„Give It“ is another massive track with a melodic touch and driving groove. Road-tested as well, thrilling breaks and brilliantly implemented soulful voices are providing an energy of which nearly no floor can resist.

Like the previous track, „Keep Sitting“ convinces with a solid build-up of mesmerizing flowin’ synth stabs and a tight groove. Turning on a distinctive dramaturgy that drops into a peaktime-driven masterpiece which mows the floor down. Phew!

Track No. 4 „Take My Hands“ is an artistic output in shape of a subtle groover with smartly arranged percussive sounds, which reveal a perfect round-up for this EP by Karaat!

El mínimal en sus múltiples fórmulas posee una en particular muy energética y tribal, la del artista Miro Pajic, quien con su nuevo EP 'Try To Copy' despliega una combinación única de sonidos minimalistas y percusiones rítmicas. Este lanzamiento incluye tres temas originales más un remix de Bee Lincoln. Una maravilla que verá la luz el 31 de Mayo a través del sello As Usual Music.

El tema que os adelantamos "Try To Copy" destaca como un tema de congas y un bajo subgrave tambaleante, condimentado con un sonido retro repetitivo y voces one shot.

MIRO PAJIC is back with a new EP on AS USUAL MUSIC. Stuffed with a ton of rhythmic pleasures, the release comes with three originals plus one remix by BEE LINCOLN. In keeping with the motto „Try To Copy EP“, the versatile artist Miro Pajic shows his pumpin‘ minimal techno side, workin‘ with quite basic and fundamental sounds like drums and percussions, the tracks have a massive energy and bringing it to another level of tribalistic music art.

Shakin‘ up the track listing, we get in with „Read Your Mind“ on tight drums with rollin’ percussions, feeded with a subby drive, sicko voice cuts and futuristic bleeps & bloops. „Translucent“ follows the percussive line, pounds smartly into hypnosis and wakes you by popping up a brilliantly placed bass stab. Full points!

Title track „Try To Copy“ scores with another conga theme and wobbling sub bass. Spiced with a repetitive retro sound and voice cuts, an illusive synth pad move dissolves the tribe and leads to such a weird and massive synth drop, that inspired the label’s own Bee Lincoln for a remix. This one slightly speeded-up, he reinterprets the synth pad as an ongoing spheric sequence and integrates the drop to be featured as main part. Sounds like as usual!

The next strong release knocks already the door and can’t wait to be played. We are more than happy to have HASSIO and partner-in-crime SAMMY MORRIS  from Colombia on board for AUM024! Not surprising that they are currently in the spotlight on many labels like Great Stuff Rec., Witty Tunes, Brise or DPE, as both are coming from the southamerican techno capital Medellin. Sprouted in an artistical environment of a vibrant and restless club scene, a floor-oriented groove is ever-present in their music. The „Deeple Woh EP“ comes with 3 massive originals and for rounding-off a wicked deep remix Berlin based Spanish artist PEPE MATEOS!

There’s (at least) one thing we all have in common: we love bassline, percussions and definitely groove. ‚Deeple Woh’ has exactly the right dose, plus a gentle deepness, shifting cuts and funky weirdo sounds. What else do you need?! Turning into ‚Broadway Street, we recognise that it feels best on dancing feet. A little craziness plus well-placed outruns of the drivin’ beat and your body moves automatically. Both solo works by Hassio. Third original is a collaboration together with Sammy Morris and they kill it with chopped-up rhythms melting on an energized contemporary groove. Ready for the rave.

After a bunch of highly sensitive and subtle groovin’ releases with enormously warmth and friendly deepness on labels like Time Has Changed, Low Groove, Play Groove, Golden Gate and many more, we requested Pepe Mateos to do a remix. And he delivered! ‚Broadway Street’ was his fav and he stripped it down to extremly delicious shakin’ percussions, and flutes the snake out with hilarious synth sounds. Now, let’s go to the dancefloor...
