The OAK​ series is a tribute to Johnny Igaz, an AYLI DJ and social justice warrior lost in the Ghost Ship Fire, who was an inspiration for the label's creation. AYLI will donate proceeds to social justice organization that will be determined and announced before each OAK release. He believed that together we should challenge the system.

Adra (real name Alandria Sheffer) hails from the Mission district of San Francisco. Originally from Nevada, 8 years ago she made her way westward in pursuit of artistic inspiration and hasn't looked back since. Heavily informed by the sounds of her youth, she constructs refreshingly simple yet elegant excursions with her modest hardware setup. That is to say, mechanized techno inspired by the likes of Nitzer Ebb, Kraftwerk and of course the master himself, Jeff Mills.

Caribbean born, Oakland raised, Indy Nyles is one of Oakland California’s finest live techno musicians. Over the last two decades, he has studied the intricacies of analog synthesis and hardware construction. His live sets are always an exploration of sound and rhythm – no two are quite the same and yet every show will leave you feeling like you went on a deep and personal journey into Indy’s mind..
Originating as a pianist, Indy’s years of experience shows through his soulful melodies and hypnotic, yet grooved out, rhythms.  Indy Nyles is one of Oakland California’s finest live techno musicians. Over the last two decades, he has studied the intricacies of analog synthesis and hardware construction. Armed with this knowledge, Indy has built his own multi-faceted instrument rig, pieces of which he transports to warehouses, live venues and nightclubs whenever invited to share his vision of rich, warm west coast techno. Indy is also a versatile DJ and lifelong vinyl collector, always pushing a heavy groove of pulsing techno, unapologetic acid and ambient house jams. He has shared the decks with Lando at Oakland’s Rare Form party and alongside Erika for the Shuffle Co-Op.  Indy’s home studio can be summarized as a carefully curated, complex system of synthesizers, keyboards, patch-cables, drum machines, homemade 'sound boxes' and a wide assortment of effects pedals. His live sets are always an exploration of sound and rhythm – no two are quite the same and yet every show will leave you feeling like you went on a deep and personal journey into Indy’s mind. Alongside his own productions, Indy supports live hardware musicians through his label, Important Jogger, with releases available in both digital and cassette formats. Kudeki keeps busy pushing the darker side of San Francisco's often-sunny dance music scene. She is best known for co-running Noctuary, a party bringing women and nonbinary artists to the forefront in the Bay Area and beyond. Kudeki has been a resident at San Francisco’s Public Works, and released music on local labels Fault Radio and Perfect Location Records. As a DJ she adapts to everything from Burning Man's Berghain analogue to daytime bliss at San Francisco Pride, sharing the stage with artists like Mike Servito, Luke Slater, Noncompliant, and more. She is known for spinning intricate sets featuring techno with heavy doses of electro, acid, industrial, and EBM flavor, filled with equal parts fun, emotional depth
and freedom.

She knows deep house as form of transcendence when spinning in the Downtown synagogue Detroit at regular intervals. Her dj appearances are in Detroit's Marble Bar, The Temple Bar or Motor City Wine rotating with Japan, Canada and Germany. Her guaranty is to offer a safe space for the people who come to see her to just be. Currently based in San Francisco, Farsight adventurously cross-pollinates the UK hardcore continuum with genres like trap music, jersey club, reggaeton and dancehall, cultivating a rabid following both domestically and across the Atlantic.
 
Emerging as an artist to watch with a daring EP on Belgium-based Maloca Records in 2020 and rave-inflected vinyl for the UK's Scuffed Records in 2021, further releases with Tropopause Records, Lobster Theremin sublabel Breaks 'N' Pieces, and Scuffed Records in 2022 have made evident Farsight's artistic range and hunger to create.

Having perfected the opening, closing and headlining set, with over 19 years of DJing experience, at Pacific Sound's Sunset parties. You can catch him on the decks most weekends, sometimes as many as three times in one night, in dark basements, large clubs and outside at park parties. AYLI Ground Level shines a light on artists that create the fabric of our community: City by city, state by state, country by country. Washington, D.C.’s Jacq Jill AKA Lauren Wright's contribution to their local community have ramped up in recent years, with regular gigs alongside international heavy hitters and the launch of the “Hothouse" warehouse series with Shyboi. Those dates have been paired with releases on a who’s who’s of podcasts and an appearance representing D.C on Boiler Room. That energy has lead to headliner appearances at the leading queer underground parties in North America. Jacq Jill’s best known for bringing that same energy to the party.  Their energy on the decks is captivating. Their drive is to build community through the creation safe spaces. It’s impossible not to be pulled in. We’re excited to shine a light on Jacq Jill.
