Altered State Is an 8 track collaborative VA which reflects on a year that has changed all of our lives in many ways. After months of lockdown away from nightclubs we began to sense that dance music lacked context and became more nostalgic. As producers we were drawn to slower tempo’s and we wanted to conceptualise these feelings of disillusionment onto a record that would be released as lockdown eased and life returned to ‘’normal’’. The E.P is designed to introduce us back into the clubbing state of mind with downtempo tracks that are melancholic, experimental and up-lifting. Tracks which will ease you into a night out and warm up the cold abandoned dance-floors. 
This project is raising money for MIND charity with profits from the release.

Pressed on a limited run of orange vinyl, the color and name of the EP correspond to Sodium on the Fraunhofer Absorption Spectrum of our sun.

Stefan Weise aka Syrte envisioned the “Astra Spectra” series as a celebration of mankind’s vision for space exploration, past and future, while also expressing a love for space science, science fiction and the spirit of discovery. Each release in the series is representative of a color frequency in our sun’s absorption spectrum and the element which is represented by that, hence the name, which means “Solar Spectrum”.

Senais gerais laikais aka prieš pat antrąjį karantiną spėjome sudalyvauti viename paskutiniųjų renginių. Pačioje vakarėlio pabaigoje išgirdome labai konkretaus ir aiškaus stiliaus, uplifting house atstovą - Tunyla. Iš miglotos vakarėlio eigos jo grojama muzika ypač stipriai įsiminė, kas yra visada labai teigiamas ženklas. Kitas teigiamas ženklas buvo tai, kad jau vakarėlio eigoje norėjome jį pakviesti į mūsų miksų seriją, tad Tunyla įspūdį paliko nemažą. Džiaugiamės galėdami pasidalinti valanda energingos ir gerai nuteikiančios houso porcijos, kuri leidžia bent minimaliai pozityviau pasijausti apie lėtai gerėjančią dabartinę situaciją.
