Leeds' legendary 20/20 Vision Recordings marks 30 years at the forefront with this new project, 'Full Circle', which takes the form of a series of records and events celebrating a fine legacy. Founded by Ralph Lawson and Carl Finlow in a Leeds farmhouse, 20/20 has since put out nearly 500 releases and 2,000 tracks in all. This latest features rare gems, remixes and unreleased tracks and kicks off with a showcase of classics reintroduced for a new generation. Highlights include Christian Loffler's melancholic 'York', Tuccillo's evocative 'Sabotage', Art of Tones' 'Praise', which is already a bonafide anthem for DJs like Honey Dijon, Wulf n Bear's debut 'Space Groover'. Great stuff.

PREMIERE : Tuccillo - Sabotage

'From the needle drop, the listener is swept away by Moving Still. The Jeddah-born, Dublin-based artist graces Bordello A Parigi with Close to the Shams, four works that summarise his broad range and even broader influences. Pulsating percussion push piano plumes and brass blasts in “Zaman.” A SWANA-inspired scent weaves through the track, with snare rolls adding spice and speed to this heady opener. Tempos drop for “Bang of Luban.” Beats are bolstered, acid squirms lending texture, while the central melody bends and turns from traditional refrains to house reimaginings.

Those traditional undercurrents continue into the B-Side. The title piece is big and bold, kicks split into broken beats while nuanced mizmar notes dip and dive with a swallow-like agility. “Sunday Rollover (Suntop Mix)” calls time on the quartet. A relaxed rhythm gives support and space to low-slung lounge lines, a dreamy and enchanting finish to an EP that illustrates the breadth and depth of Moving Still.'

Feedasoul Records presents “Let’s Stay With It” EP, a 4 track EP from Brooklyn’s Yasin Hazim, delivering soulful deep house paying homage to both Detroit House music and his cultural heritage. This EP was written as a love letter to deep house, a love letter to the club environment and the people met there, in this space in between, looking for relief and connection. Through every track, you can hear this constant through line: a message between fierce resilience and longing for staying afloat in the current urgency.

Warm Rhodes & Wurlitzers mix with live bass, acid 303 lines with arabic strings, recorded jembes with classic deep house drums topped with a soulful, powerful voice. This record is a hand reaching across and connecting sounds, solid grooves and driving bass lines letting you close your eyes and feel that we’re in this together.

"After receiving @magarimusic and @ilijarudman’s tracks within a short time of each other it felt like a perfect fit to pair them together. Both productions give a nod to the 80s House sound whilst expertly bringing the aesthetic up to date.

Magari has provided us with an eyes closed dub’d out groover and Rudman supplies a winding and weaving synthesised journey, giving a sonic glimpse in to his fully stocked studio.

It’s always been top of our list to work with the inimitable Mark Seven (@parkwayrecs). His music is a staple of our sets and as many of you know, is somewhat of guiding light of our scene. Any fan of Parkway Records knows it’s always an exciting day when they announce something new, needless to say we are proud to present a Parkway Powermix on M.A.D.

Finally, our good friend, the extremely versatile Producer/DJ @manueldarquart finishes off the record with a sublime rolling take on ‘Danceteria’. If somehow you didn’t know him already consider yourself informed."

Straight from Copenhagen, Danish DJ/producer B From E delivers an EP that sits halfway between Trance and House. With deep melodies and infectious rhythms, Blue Lava opens a portal to a new world — both icy and fiery. Split into two parts, the A-side burns with energy, while the B-side shines with luminous melodies.

With its powerful vocals and a melody that brings a breath of fresh air, the opening track of the EP We Are Gods truly lives up to its name. Representative of the EP, it beautifully embodies the deep and captivating melodies of Blue Lava.
Ocean Drive offers a subtle blend of softness and groove. Like a dream, light percussions gently land on a track filled with ethereal melodies.

Hypnotic, the arpeggio of Arp Dream never leaves the track and opens the B-side of the vinyl. The drums evoke the energy of an erupting volcano where the melody of the track would represent the blue lava flowing poetically.

With Blue Lava, B From E closes his EP on a nostalgic note. Blue Lava recalls an early morning sunrise, in the atmosphere of a night you never want to end.

The car moved slowly, weaving between the traffic and the flickering lights up ahead. The myriad of colours whizzed by as they entered the rollerstate – the city encompassed everything and swallowed it whole.

There was silence in the backseat. The driver made little motion but for the occasional twist of the wheel.

Outside there was noise, outside there was madness.

Inside there was peace. A subtle warmth to the bubble in which he sat.

The city was his home.

Mosley Jr. releases an excellent collection of deep, dubbed out house music with delicate moods and nostalgic references. This one sounds as good on a lonely bus ride home as it would in the club. Heads down.
