Al Wird Al Latif - The Prophetic litany compiled by Imam Al Haddad should be recited daily before any litany given by your Shaykh. As with all the litanies of Imam al-Haddad, al-Wird al-Latif is made up of nothing but the ‘prayers’ of the Prophet ﷺ & the formulae that he instructed his community to recite mornings & evenings. It is therefore strictly in conformity with the sunna, & once it is well-rehearsed & becomes regular practice, one can rest assured that he is following the ‘Prophetic’ instructions as to which adhkar he should use to begin and end his day.

The Jewelled Necklace Of The Resplendent Prophet's Birth. The Mawlid of al-Barzanji Recorded Live in Cape Town By The Al-Zawiya Singers.  the Mawlid of al-Barzanji, one of the classics of traditional Islamic culture. It is a sung celebration of the birth and greatness of the Holy Prophet Muhammad s, traditionally recited on the anniversary of his birth. Giving thanks for the Holy Prophet is an obligation in Islam; and in this work, Imam Ja’far al-Barzanji (d.1764), a scholar of Kurdish origin who was born and studied in Madina, has given the world the most popular of all recitals of the Prophetic birth. This recording of the Mawlid al-Barzanji was made in Cape Town, with the celebrated Mawlid Jama’at of the Al-Zawiya Mosque, under the direction of Shaykh Seraj Hendricks, formerly Chair of the Fatwa Committee of Cape Town. This was sang in the presence of the prestige scholar of the Shafi school Habib Umar (Tarim, Yemen). This content is not my property.
