"Mist" is inspired from such beauty of fog like phenomena which reflects the thin light to fine mist.Superimposed on the drone of layer, Hawaii Oahu bird cries, coast of sound waves of Bellingham and rain sound in Takao-san in Hachioji has been used in songs. "Nangoku"in the "Mist" has been published as installation work at Super Deluxe in December 2014 by 24chPA system.this album was produced at the request of the fashion brand "MIKU FUKAMITSU". it is making accessories by the natural materials and colors in concept.

Short section taken from approx. 1:10min in : split to 4x speeds as described. 2x were slowed with pitch and time shift, 1 with time shift only.

All 4 were loosely laid in turns onto a time base, then 'arranged' into 4 registers of accompaniment - in a sense the AABBCCxxxx aspect of the project is more 'vertical' than 'horizontal'.

No beats&loops&delay or sampling, all paintbrush-style freely worked in Audacity. Some reverb and reversals used to blend up a palette.

A lot going on in 1910; maybe not so ancient?

[Disquiet Junto Project 0166: Slow by Steps]
Take a pre-existing track, slow it in descending states, and then add something to it.

This week we’re slowing down an ancient piece of audio, dating from 1910, and adding sounds atop it to create one continuous composition.

Step 1: Download at http://goo.gl/aMlHXm a public-domain recording of Eugène Ysaÿe performing “Rondino” by composer Henri Vieuxtemps. (Note: If you land on the new archive.org site and can’t figure out how to download, click on the “exit beta” button in the upper-right-hand corner of the webpage to go to the original archive.org site design, where the downloading is self-evident.)

Step 2: Choose a short segment of the recording, roughly between three and five seconds. Label it as Segment A.

Step 3: Create a Segment B by slowing Segment A to half its original speed.

Step 4: Create a Segment C by slowing Segment B to half its original speed.

Step 5: Create a Segment D by slowing Segment C to half its original speed.

Step 6: Create an underlying foundational track by stitching instances of A, B, C, and D together in that order. 
	Recommended for a five-second segment is Ax4, Bx2, C, D (or AAAABBCD), which would be 100 seconds.

Step 7: Create a new piece of music by recording accompaniment to add to the foundational track, which will otherwise remain unadulterated.

Step 8: Upload the combination of your accompaniment and the foundational track to the Disquiet Junto group on SoundCloud.

Step 9: Then listen to and comment on tracks uploaded by your fellow Disquiet Junto participants.

Deadline: This assignment was made in the evening, California time, on Thursday, March 5, 2015, with a deadline of 11:59pm wherever you are on Monday, March 9, 2015.

Length: The length of your finished work should be roughly between one and three minutes.

Upload: Please when posting your track on SoundCloud, only upload one track for this assignment, and include a description of your process in planning, composing, and recording it. Чертежи / blueprints (with Somebody Bo)

This is my first attempt to contribute to this Disquiet Junto project thing.  This week's project was to take two piano compositions by Nils Frahm, called "Do" and "Re", and remix them together.  Modifying the samples was allowed, but no new sounds could be added.

I decided to try doing something interesting as quickly as I could, with as little care as I could handle.  I threw the tracks into Ableton Live, sliced them into sample grids, and pitched several of the samples down in a haphazard manner, not paying attention to which i was choosing to modify.

Each composition was in its own track.  "Do" got a nice big load of reverb on it, plus a bit of treatment from Live's Beat Repeat plugin.  "Re" had 3 effects paths.  Path 1 filtered out all but some of the higher frequencies and added a HP filtered delay, path 2 had downsampling and LP filtering, and path 3 had a gated Beat Repeat.  Both tracks were sent a bit to a Send channel with heavy compression, "Re" was sent through another Send channel for a clean signal, and then everything was compressed a bit more.  I think compression is the coolest thing ever and I use it as much as I can because it makes me look cool, like smoking cigarettes.

This was all set up in a manner so I could press play and it could just keep going forever.  I guess that's what some folks call "generative".  I set an audio track to listen to the Master channel and armed it to record.  When I started recording, I discovered that I forgot to set it to NOT send audio back to the Master channel, and therefore got some crazy feedback.  I decided to just leave it be, and messed with the channel's amplitude to control the feedback.
