As the autumn breeze moves in, we say goodbye to our #SummerOfCreme series with the debut EP from Swiss based artist, SHE Spells Doom (@shespellsdoom) aka Wamya Tembo. "Jacuzzi Jam Junction" is a journey through emotion and time; a place soundtracked by eerie synthesizers reminiscent of John Carpenter and pulsating analog rhythms blending the line between house and techno.

Words from Wamya:

"The title Jacuzzi Jam Junction is actually the name of an imaginary motel I came up with.. Like a little motel surrounded by fog, in the middle of nowhere. A place where lonely people stay up late, watch infomercials, chat on bad dial up, call up party lines or mediums to try reconnect with loved ones they've lost. Some believe amethyst has the power to connect us to the "other side". Just so happens my late Uncle Owen used to give me amethyst rocks when I was a kid.

I was inspired by this and tried to find a way to make music that felt/sounded purple."
