Oversize the Oversized är The Grand Stations stora skattkista – en samlingsplatta som samlar upp allt det där som annars riskerar att gå förlorat i tidens brus. Här finns demos, alternativa mixar, outtakes och experimentella tagningar från bandets olika perioder, sånt som ofta bara bandmedlemmar och de närmast sörjande fått höra tidigare.

Det är en resa genom bandets historia bakom kulisserna: de första trevande versionerna av låtar som senare blev fanfavoriter, råa liveinspelningar med all sin energi och oförutsägbarhet, samt udda experiment som visar på bandets kreativitet när studion förvandlades till lekplats.

Titeln Oversize the Oversized är en blinkning till att allt fått plats – här är det maxat, storslaget och kompromisslöst. Skivan ger både en dokumentär känsla för trogna fans och nya ingångar för den som vill upptäcka The Grand Station från ett annat håll.

Detta är inte den polerade studioversionen av bandet – det här är de råa kanterna, de lyckade olyckorna och de ögonblick som skapade bandets identitet.
