This idea was conceived back in early 2019, during that period of time where it was popular to just have "Megalovania" in your AU because UT:HH did it. I'd say it serves a purpose here, as it's an homage to Toadie's famous project "Sans Undertale: Barricaded." In their final battle, they embody Sans one last time.

Since we're in early-game territory for MT 1, why not delve a bit into MT 2 material for a bit, huh?

Mortatoriel 2, the "Betrayed Underground" ending, details an outcome in which a once-merciful fallen human suddenly kills many monsters in Cool Cool Peaks, including Grillby and Dappertune, and Queen Toriel. Former king of monsters, Asgore, has returned to reclaim the throne, trying to amend for his mistakes and reassure his people that everything will improve despite their suffering. Royal scientist Undyne has tightened security in the Underground, and monsterkind refuse to trust humans anymore. Even if humans did show some kindness in the past, anything can happen.

Asriel takes both his and Toriel's role. After his father returned to the throne, Asriel became more aware of his connection to the crown and is taking on heavy responsibilities of being the underground's prince, especially in light of the Cool, Cool Peaks massacre. Knowing well that Chara once had the promise of pacifistic humans, he secretly wanders into the Sunken Temple to watch for fallen humans so that he can guide them towards a path of kindness and compassion.
Note 1 (05/08/21): @the_freaking_weirdo has updated the thumbnail for this track with a slight tweak to Asriel's sprite; more specifically, some things hanging from Asriel's cape that were not visible (due to blending into the background with a black color) are now visible, with a dark blue color matching his cape.

This is Asgore's theme, which will play at various important points throughout the story.

Not every song will be a calm take on ASGORE, don't worry. Plenty more on the way...eventually.

A short little fanfare for when Asgore dies. It sounds a bit more unsettling than Determination, because, well...Asgore isn't exactly supposed to die.

Dammit even in my projects where Asgore isn't supposed to die, he still dies!

I really wanted to make this in case you couldn't tell. I've been obsessed with this track in particular out of the entire Aftergore OST. So I figured I'd try to recreate it to the best of my abilities. It's not 100% accurate so you can also consider it a remix/cover if you will.

Part Three:
A whole variety of films and television programmes have been based on Alice's Adventures in Wonderland (1865) and its sequel, Through the Looking-Glass and What Alice Found There (1871). The first film ever made was in the UK in 1903. It was a silent live-action short. The United States quickly followed and became prolific with Alice productions. A certain Walt Disney directed a series of silent animated live-action shorts from 1923 to 1927. Trivia: The character of the “Mad Hatter" is thought to have been inspired by the phrase "mad as a hatter." It refers to mercury poisoning in hatmakers during the Victorian era (traces of arsenic have also been discovered). Another theory was of an eccentric furniture dealer in Oxford named Theophilus Carter. Carter's flamboyant style and the use of mercury in hat-making during that time add further intrigue to the Mad Hatter’s origin.

Uploads to this might be infrequent, as we'd like to prioritize the art and comic-making OVER the music. So expect music to come out as the story does, and a few non-spoilery teasers here and there.
