In episode 4 I sit down with someone hugely inspiring in so many ways: Sweetpea!

A DJ, producer, radio presenter, interviewer, and an EQ50 sister.. Sweetpea experiences the drum and bass scene from many different sides. 

This conversation is full of things, that primarily, I think we all know, but we need to be reminded of - myself included. It's refreshing to hear some of the advice she has for up and comers and the way she's seen dnb evolve, the hope she has in the new generation and some of the things she misses from what she calls her 'golden era'.
 
We touch on important topics such as inclusivity and diversity, social media, mindset, battling quiet periods in your music career and the importance of being fulfilled in your life as a whole.

In the interview, I describe this as 'The chat I wanted to have, but didn't realise how much I needed'. I stand by this statement.

We had met them at the end of last season, and they have returned to give us updates on their musical activities, as well as the new gems that will be featured on their upcoming LP. An interview rich in various topics about their current affairs and the world of Belgian drum & bass, along with a precise and cutting guest mix from the depths of Antwerp. We were happy to reconnect with them, and we hope you are too.

Een 9nde episode nog steeds in de lokale Drum&Bass-kleuren, maar dit keer uit het noorden van het land. Deze groep opkomende sterren uit Antwerpen, bestaande uit getalenteerde producers, vocalisten en DJ’s die we allemaal geweldig vinden bij Wicked Sounds.

Une interview riche de plusieurs sujets autour de leurs actu et du petit monde de la drum&bass belge, un guest mix précis et tranchant venu du fond des abysses anversoises. On a été heureux de les retrouver, et on espère que vous aussi.
