Proving that age isn’t a factor when it comes to experience, award-winning multi-instrumentalist/singer-songwriter Ash Martin has been navigating the quagmire of the music industry since the age of fifteen. Hailing from the humble country town of Gympie, Ash came to find his passion for music in late 2012 after developing an interest from his musically inclined father. It was Ash’s tenacity and relentless determination that saw the beginning of what would become his career in music.

After studying the highest level of musical tuition in secondary education, Ash auditioned for the 2015 intake of students at the Queensland Conservatory of Music. While still in his first year, he has displayed the skill and positive attitude that constitutes the key to success. “Ash continues to strive towards excellence both on-stage and in the lecture halls. He is widely respected and valued by his peers as an outstanding musician and valuable asset to the other students at the Queensland Conservatory.” – James Diamond, Queensland Conservatorium.

Currently residing on the Gold Coast, Ash is regularly rubbing shoulders with industry professionals while also maintaining a healthy balance of study and live performance. Ash is currently performing in his own solo venture as well as multiple bands and acts ranging from hard blues to traditional bush ballad country.

Showcasing his evident live experience on stages as diverse as wine bars and open-air arenas, Ash never fails to bring an energetic, entertaining display of southern rock. With multiple appearances at major festivals such as the Gympie Music Muster, Tamworth Country Music Festival and Caboolture Urban Country Festival, Ash has the stage experience of many veteran performers at even his young age.

Ash currently holds multiple awards, which he earned from his time with the Capitol Country Music Association, Australian Institute of Country Music and Country Music School of Excellence, which are all further displays of his determination, commitment, and musical talent.
