Rusted Colors is showcasing our finest and freshest Techno / House producers, one after another. The second edition of Rusted Colors series is different than the first; splashing the dance floor with darker shades of techno and minimal music, cleverly structured, filled by driving and powerful grooves. Our Colors V2 features two inspiring duos, both are from Germany. We're happy to welcome in the talented Diaz & Parree, John Haden and Peter Groskreutz.

Maksim Dark - A young talented musician and Live DJ playing only his own tracks. Whilst he may be a fresh name to some, Russian producer Maksim Dark has already impressed the likes of Dubfire and Richie Hawtin with his fearless, groovy brand of techno. In 2016 he issued a release on a big label boss Dubfire called SCI+TEC, has already tempted us with an early introduction to the ACIDSTAGE Ep via his recent Boiler Room set. Staying true to his name, Maksim Dark, our latest debutant has delivered 4 tracks of shadowy minimal goodness, each featuring the artist on demonic vocal duties. From the driving synth groove and white noise washes of ‘Bassewiser’ and the stripped bare, linear sounds of ‘Coneblower’ to the bubbling and yet biting sounds of title track ‘Acid Stage’ and sci-fi squeals and ominous chords of closing number ‘Harpsichord’, we’re given the perfect introduction to this exciting young artist. Release received much recognition from the fans, won high ratings in sales.

He developed his passion for music in his early teens. At age 16 he began to study and experiment with music. He had a lot of ideas, but he was too young to afford expensive studio equipment. This did not prevent him from doing his first 100 releases on a pair of cheap speakers. After a couple of years on those speakers, people noticed his unique sound, Maksim continued to explore and extract something new every day of making music. Over the past 4 years, he managed to write over 100 songs and 40 remixes for talented musicians from Europe, as most of the tracks released on his own label Shinocs Music, and half of the tracks on the labels of other friends from Europe.

Also during this time he managed to produce vinyl records on labels such as DER HUT (Germany) and LA BOHEME RECORDINGS (Germany) and entered the top 5 best-selling vinyl records in the store. Maksim's released 4 albums, each album has brought and more popularity and held a big ratings..And many more of his tracks are in the top sections.

He gained a lot of respect in Europe, as well as countries in other continents, such as Brazil, Argentina, Mexico and even India. He has his own style of music. That is what the people like and make them feel something else. There is support from the Russian colleagues in the shop to write music in the style of Minimal Techno....

Arriving as the first release of the new sublabel series FIGURE JAMS, this split EP by Fabrizio Lapiana and Amotik serves not only as a crafty cut in its own right but also showcases a particular type of package, which we will be facilitating from now on.

The A-side is taken up by a pair of Lapiana‘s irresistably dense grooves that unmistakebly tread in the footsteps of his homeland‘s highly emotional techno, unafraid of big melodies but also injecting just the right amount of twisted acid to set the floor ablaze.

This sense of grandeur and space is also reflected in the work of fast-rising producer Amotik. Painting with his very own colours as an equally epic scenery, its bleak and post-apocalyptic landscape dominated by broken industrial beats and hypnotically swirling synths.

Eitan Reiter is a bit of a musical stalwart, with his releases gracing Traum, Minus, Enemy, Praxxis, Plattenbank, and Sprout, and also collaborating with Sebastian Mullaert of Minilogue fame on an album released on Mule, his musical diversity ranges from techno to chill out, and many shades in-between.

'Boarding' is a trippy wobbly bassed techno journey, a little different to recent Lost & Found releases, yet shining a fresh light of coolness to this always impressive imprint. Its relentlessness and simplicity of the track are its strong points, as this monster just keeps on going, undulating, and playing with your mind constantly. This is just one of those dirty tracks that will send a crowd completely wild, without ever differentiating away from the tracks groove.

The lovable German Timo Maas steps up on remix duty, and add some trippy elements and some hypnotic percussion, with the bassline remaining restrained, before it ebbs and flows, as the track meanders along its mind melting adventure. Things intensify as this club melting rework really comes in to its own. 

That riff.. it will stick in your head, trust us!

Ash Roy’s career spanning two decades has made him one of the most progressive and revered artists. His style moves through minimal and techno with a pinch of psychedelia, tied up elegantly with percussions. Engaged in both Germany's and India's underground techno circuits, Ash has delivered distinctive hybrid sets across Europe, Australia, the USA, and Asia. His deep-seated passion for minimal techno shines through his releases on various labels. His releases appear on labels such as Dark Face Recordings, Trapez Ltd., Alpaka Muzik, Techgnosis, Gain Records, Frequenza, Phobos, Ballroom Records, Jannowitz, Hydrozoa, Bully Beatz, and his very own Soupherb Records, to name a few.

Ash made a significant impact with his debut at the Netherlands’ Awakenings in 2017, earning a return invitation the following year. In 2019, he debuted at Esoteric Festival Australia, leading to an extensive six-gig tour across the country. His performance at Fusion Festival's iconic Turmbühne stage in 2021 marked another milestone, along with his debut at Germany's Wurzel Festival.

The summers of 2022 and 2023 saw Ash gracing stages at prestigious festivals such as Fusion Festival, Esoteric Festival Australia, Hai in den Mai Festival (Germany), Bucht der Träumer Festival, Gaggalacka Festival (Germany), Master of Puppets (Czech Republic), Château Perché (France), Praerie Festival (Germany), Wurzel Festival (Germany), and Zouav’Fest (France).

In 2024, he was once again invited to Fusion Festival to perform at the Palast der Republik stage and made his debut at Antaris, Evolution Festival and Rave the Planet.

In 2013, Ash launched Soupherb Records, which has since become India's leading minimal techno label, boasting over 220 releases from artists worldwide. This showcases his dedication to promoting forward-thinking and experimental music.
