ASHE' JAM BAND is a husband and wife duo featuring Gypsy Sun on electric guitar and Shakimono on vocals. This eclectic blend of rock and roll and hip hop infuses a multicultural influence and proper knowledge for the rebels with a cause. Their consciousness speaks the truth about corporate bailouts and their dismissal of the environmental concerns regarding sacred mother earth, and also addresses the ongoing racial tension that the USA was founded on. Their music rebellion is also a consistent reminder that we are all one, regardless of nationality, skin color, religion, language, sexual orientation, gender identity, and financial status. Spirituality is all about Love, Respect and Unity.


Gypsy Sun honors the legacy of the original rockers from the 60s and 70s (i.e. Jimi Hendrix, Alvin Lee). His talents as a self taught musician started with the congas when he was merely three years old. The son of an astute musician and theater acting father and theatrical actress mother, finding his voice an electric guitarist was inevitable. 

Shakimono’s poetic delivery of raw lyrics and self expressive dance accompanied by hardcore hip hop tracks and punk rock instrumentation from Gypsy Sun, Ashe' Jam Band is a must see live performance and most definitely a mix tape worth downloading.
