French producer and rub a dub specialist Stalawa is at it again.
My Kitchen comes with an organic unique vibe truly infused by the Roots Radics and Channel One’s Soljie’ style of production. Voiced by I Bogle, who also cut the much requested title track to Mungo’s Bogle rhythm, this was recorded in Kingston by Easytjam from Digital Steppaz at the home of the late dub poet George “Nazamba” Scott, with Scottish vocalist Tom Spirals on guitar.
My Kitchen is a mellow yet bass-heavy meditation on the importance of Ital food and one’s own space.
This new single from Stalawa announces a series of worldwide collaborations to be released in a forthcoming EP mixing modern sounding rub a dub with early digital influences in a true Jamaican fashion so keep your ears peeled...
