Originality is the basis of ASHESANDGOLDUST taking old sounds and mixing them with a touch of elegance and creativity.  There has never been a band around like ASHESANDGOLDUST and it is definitely a challenge to place them neatly in a box.  Some Elvis here and Lana there, a dash of Bowie and Bauhaus.  Black Tape for a Blue Girl wouldn't be so far off!  Awesome sounds with amazing vocals.
