During my interview at P3 Radio in Denmark, Volmer and Vibe from Vidundergrunden gave me a challenge to remix a song. They chose 3 Brazilian classics and after a vote with my awesome fans, The girl from Ipanema was chosen! A real Brazilian classic! I started working on it and while I was playing around with some ideas my studio neighbor Lukas Marc overheard and had som great ideas so we decided to work on it together. Inspired by her rich cultural heritage, Ashibah hails from Denmark with roots in Cairo, Egypt where she lived up until 19 before recently relocating to Brazil that has become like a second home to the musician.

Her track On the Line with Saffron Stone, garnering support from Danny Howard and Charlie Hedges on BBC Radio 1 and Kiss FM. Continuing to excel, Ashibah’s  has already clocked up releases with D4DNCE, REALM Records, Nothing Else Matters, Armada and collaborated with Beatport Sounds and Loopcloud to bring producers her debut sample pack ‘4.E.V.E.R’. Her next project is a 3 track EP on Lane 8’s This Never Happened.
