Tidal Wave is about that flood of emotion when you let yourself feel fully, even if it crashes in all at once. The temporary drowning that can lead to clarity.
This project came together as I let go, as I let the wave take me where it needed to. I was trying to be honest, learning not to hide from what hurts.

Cerulean Skies (That's All That I See)

On August 18, 1842, Joseph Smith wrote to 17-year-old Sarah Ann Whitney and her parents, three weeks after secretly marrying her: 'burn this letter as soon as you read it; keep all locked up in your breasts, my life depends upon it... when Emma comes you cannot be safe.' He told them to knock at the window and 'escape observation.' Sarah's mother Elizabeth had helped Emma start Relief Society just months before. The letter survived. These are Joseph Smith's actual words in his own handwriting.

Burn This Letter

From the last session in our beloved spray-foamed room before it was finished as a great room. The session was in preparation for playing a gig on Bannerman Island in the Hudson River  for Father's Day in 2024.
