Wildfire was produced at ICEHOUSEH20 Studios in New Brunswick New Jersey, former home studio to Raekwon of the Wu-Tang Clan about a year ago today. The record was conceived after a phone call where my mother told me I would rise from the ashes like a phoenix. Its why she named me Ashley. No matter how hot the crucible, I'd survive and be the last thing left. 

I was blessed to be surrounded by talent such as SINGH & Arielle Alexa. They both have strong island voices. I was able to remove my electronic auto-tuned vocals from the chorus and replace it with classic feeling vocals. 

Inspired by my small side ventures, I wrote verses that reflected what I feel on the day to day. The stresses of doing business with small minded people, and the camaraderie found within my trusted circle of individuals. Feeling like there is not enough time to accomplish what I know I am capable of, Wildfire is a perfect fit for The Meditation compilation as its a series of thoughts that surface when sitting peacefully.

Created back in Beachwood, Oh in 2012 when the thought of Carnegie Records was only but a thought for the future. A record that was created soon after the release of THE PLAYED ALBUM. DOXX leads the record with a strong soulful voice that sings relatable lyrics describing the urges of men. ASH J produced the song inspired by soulful 70's funk music and 80's electronic. ASH J also graces the first verse with lyrics that suggest he is totally focused on creating a desired life and not getting wrapped up in non-sense associated with loose women.

Ashj is a Hip-Hop/Rap/New Wave/R&B artist from Cleveland, Ohio who currently resides on the east coast in Philadelphia. ASH J’s self-produced beats usually contain a sophisticated & bouncy drum pattern designed to act as the edge to a beautifully crafted melody painted with somber pastel synthesizers and angel like vocals.
