Reach for the Stars - Ashley Fayth Songwriting Club (feat. Kelsall Community Primary School)

In support of the UN's International Day of Forests (21 March, 2019), these young songwriters (aged 7-11) composed an original song to raise awareness of the importance of all types of woodlands and trees, and celebrate the ways in which they sustain and protect us!

LYRICS:

All of the animals lived happily
Until people came and they chopped down the trees
Insects and rabbits and monkeys and bats
We must work hard to protect their habitat

The creatures we home
The stories we tell
The carbon we breathe
The people we help
We're mystical, magical, wonderful forests

Ashley’s 2013 single “Peanut Butter” was also included alongside The Civil Wars and Los Lonely Boys on a compilation released by Inspire Entertainment for major North American retailers GAP clothing and Claire’s Accessories.
